I don't really like paying real money for pixel things because you never know if the site will close down or when you'll get bored of it. Not strictly speaking Mene of course, but any game that has pixelated purchases for real money.
Good example is MapleStory, if anyone's heard of that game.

I bought my masks with gold.
I've never donated to a site.
I wouldn't ever do that just for the item for the reasons that Ayla mentioned.
If I ever do, it will just be to show support.

maple is such a waste to me. the company is huge so it doesn't really need my support for one and the 2nd crappy thing is that when you buy an item it has an expiration date. they aren't even items that up your stats, just wacky mushroom hats and stuff like that. so lame.

yeah paypal gets me up the shitter with fees too, but i just add the fee to the commission lawl. i have a merchant's account or whatever it's called since i needed to accept credit card payments and international payments.

i confirmed my account when i had it but i never saw the option to transfer to my bank account. gay.
