I figure next year will be better. Just need to graduate, take our corresponding licensing exams, and get going with life.

I did have my supervisor imply she'd be willing to turn my current job into a full-time job after I graduate. I do love it, but it's not therapy, and I often feel the pull and tug NOT being able to provide therapeutic services. It also pays about $10 less than I'd like as a therapist. I've been thinking about applying for a job on a reservation. I have a lot of avenues to look at. That's both good and disheartening at the same time. xD

It sounds like you two have something to look forward to once you graduate. Hubby and I would love to go back to school but wouldn't be able to make it. I just hoping the overall economic situation picks up for all of us though.

Why wouldn't you be able to make it? Are you ineligible for loans?

And I'm tired of the "Can we get this $5 item without screwing up the budget?" lifestyle, selfishly. I'm so tired of never being ahead no matter how hard I work. @Roachi
Story of my life as well. Like you... it's just not happening right now. >_>
What's gone on in the past six months? I get the feeling not all of it is good?
What's your job like?
Yup lol, Especially around xmas time. It's the worst lol.
Well broke up with bf of two years, and been dealing with his weird crap since. But i think it's finally died down and he's got the message i'm not going back. And just work has been crazy - and our boss is too soft and needs to kick someone up their ass! Cause they're super lazy and we're always picking up the slack for them. -sigh-

Ahh it's alright. I work in finance, im an accounts clerk. Money is fairly decent i guess. But im stuck helping with the callcentre also as they haven't replaced one of our girls. So really glad for two weeks break. Coz our customer base... omg seriously most stupidest people ever lol. You wanna bang your head on your desk every time you talk to one lol. Other then that my finance duties keep me busy all day - i like that. Just wish the other stuff didn't exist lol.

So hot here today, but still alive!! But we will see when it's the 21st UTC time xD.

Oh no I would think I would be. I guess part of my problem is knowing there is nothing I want to do job wise that I could locally train for, and I know full well government aid will not cover online university work. I had a friend who was going to Phoenix, and it came out of pocket. I mean Fafsa should cover so far, sure, but it wouldn't cover all of it and there are limitations. Not only that, but I like working from home. I guess I could train to do medical billing, but that just doesn't sound very inviting. Maybe I'm just very content in what I'm doing now. I could do better, but my fear of driving....*sighs*

Not only that, but I would not be eligible for unemployment, and I would need to either bare bones it totally or try to keep up with working and school. I seem to barely skate by working full time...I don't think I would make it with school. When I go to school full time, it takes up all my time. I really don't want to pull out more loans.

I wish there was an easier solution to it all. I think a part of me is expecting to have to pack my bags and live at my parents with my husband. In a sense it would be nice, but I'm just waiting for my mother's other side to rear its ugly head.

I think right now I'm just trying to bury myself in the here and now and not worry too much about it. Life is sustainable, and isn't that bad. It's just the feeling that we will never really work to something bigger.

Okie dokie. I'll send it from my mule. Thanks!

@Roachi, I forget others are having warm weather. Snow and ice here right now. It's sooo cold. ;__;
Definitely sounds like a rough time of it... hang in there!

@Izumi, could you school and work? There are options out there. But, there's no reason to do something different if you're content doing what you're doing, right? Though it sounds like you're on the fence about contentedness. You'll find your way either way. <3

I'm content to a point. I wish there was more certainty and stability. Aaron is still in between jobs. If he could get something more secure, I would feel better.

URGGGGH. I have some anal asshole about an ebay listing trying to say it isn't as described. It was a game, and he knowingly said that he tried to repair the discs himself and this scratch didn't come out. I think I may just say no to his request for a refund and if he tries to take it up with ebay be like look when we sent out the items they were fine. He's full of shit, and if anything was there he did it.

Hate people like him. That's why I hate selling stuff to people as you never know when they're going to snub you like that.

Other than that, today has been good. I finished my christmas shopping, and other than maybe a couple small things for my mom I am all done with wrapping. WOOOOT.

I love that feeling of another Christmas completed. Now time to sit back and relax. :D

I hear you on the eBay thing. I specify in my return policy that I do accept returns so long as the item arrives back to me in the exact condition it left. People will sometimes try to snipe and steal at every turn. If he's going to harass you for a refund, might as well let it be through eBay/PayPal. You'd have a mediator that way.

I made candies yesterday. I have a few things to make and bake today, and Cole's doing sugar cookies and cathedral window candies. Then we'll clean. I'm not sure when Santa's going to visit. Our family get together is the 24th, but I'm not sure if people are staying over. I don't want my nephew to feel excluded if Santa just brings a bunch of stuff for Terra. He's old enough to know about Santa... but it's easy for an 11 year old to feel left out, and I'd like to avoid it.

That being said, we'll probably see Santa fill her stocking and leave presents under the tree tonight into tomorrow. Guess it depends what we can get accomplished today.

That sounds like fun! We exchanged our gifts this morning, since the next four days I'm working. I'm so geeked -- Aaron got me a Keurig and I'm loving it!!

Soon, like anytime now, one of our friends is coming over and we will hang out for a bit.

Christmas with the kids will be on Friday night and we have a massive ham Aaron got from work. I'm looking forward to that as the kids have gotten quite a bit this year thanks to my mom sending us some money.

We also have the time at my mother in laws on Christmas Day, and a weekend coming up we will visit my parents. It's actually nice stringing out the holidays like we are. Makes it last longer. :)

I love, love, love my Keurig. Don't forget to register it online!

Terra is getting her Santa-based presents Monday morning, and then the family's coming over Monday afternoon into evening, where the kids get to open theirs. The adults will just eat themselves stupid. ;)

I'm loving it too. Looks like you can get the k-cups cheaper online too and get points. Once I save some money up I think I will have to try ordering.

I think this little machine is freaking awesome.

It is. We got ours last year around this time, and it's wonderful. The coffee tastes much better, and it's convenient to just pop one in the machine here and there. We've used our regular pot just once this year--Thanksgiving. I will probably use it again at Christmas, depending on how much coffee people want. It may just be a cup here and there, so the Keurig would make sense.

Did you get the new Vue model, or the traditional machine? I keep looking at the Vue, but I think I'll wait another year. I heard it's buggy. I DO know that upon registering it, Keurig's customer service is epic. We've actually gotten two replacements from them when our model went wonky. We have the... hmm... Is it the B-70? I think so... I'd have to check!

Hey again, Chi =)

Someone I know from my charity is looking for Ink Blott and/or Cheezy Romance. Would you happen to have one or both of these for sale?

Sadly, those are the ones I think I just have one of. If I come across any more I'll let you know. I still need to look on my mule and get it updated (and this poor thread..), but I'm almost positive I didn't buy extras that month. Sorry! :(

---------- Post added 12-22-2012 at 11:28 PM ----------

Edit: I'm slowly but surely getting things updated. I went through and bought all the CIs I was behind on, and I'll do the EIs tomorrow. I updated my buy list with the items I know I'm missing.

I don't know the model, but it is the elite one. I'll have to make sure to get mine registered for sure. The kcups are expensive but I do not feel like I'm wasting as much because with a traditional pot I tend to throw so much away.

Some days we save, other days... >.> Depends on our exhaustion I guess. We tend to drink more Donut Shop and Donut House brands since they tend to be the cheapest, and occasionally we splurge on Starbucks if we find them on sale.

Well, except one. I doubt it, but you wouldn't happen to have a Light Spell lying around for sale, would you? Friend of mine is looking for that one.

Sadly no. I didn't collect doubles of (most of) the SNGs... I didn't think it was fair to carry more than one when they're so rare. I looked at my mule and I do have an extra candy stick set, but they seem to be easy enough to obtain. That's the only extra set of SNGs I have, if you come across someone looking for one. :)

Okay, thank you. =)

Yeah, I don't have doubles either.

Well, except my charity. My charity mule was gifted several SNGs, not sure if the Light Spell's amongst them, but I can't just go and decide to send them out to friends. It's a charity mule, not a "make my friends rich" mule. :P
