But you turn your lights on later, just at a different time. Or you run your water before or after, but you still run your water, which takes power.

I'm not gonna say "it doesn't matter". At least it proves people can band together. I just don't personally have a potential fix to our over consumption of energy. :( So I can't really criticize it.

Yeah it does seem a little less.. powerful now, if it's just the lights. Oh well, I'm going to turn everything off anyway. :P It's still a pretty neat idea, even if it doesn't make a huge impact practically. Although I'm guessing the impact comes from companies and stuff that have agreed to do this, because they usually leave everything running 24/7.

._. I already did my time without electricity. We had a black out yesterday. It was supposed to start at 6, but instead it started at 4:30. It killed an important document my mom was working on. I was curled up on the sofa, being terrified of shadows. xD; I refuse to go through that again today, especially since I just got back from being told that I may need root canal!
