I disliked it after the first 3 pages.
x_x
Too much swearing, it seems like a rambling kid who has nothing better to do and just kind of rambles on and on.

Chilly: You can't know if anything is good after a few pages. <<,,
Catcher in the Rye doesn't have a likable main character, but it doesn't need to to be good. To paraphrase John Green, modern thought seems to be that the main character of a book either needs to be who you'd want to be or who you'd want to date, and Holden Caufield is certainly neither of those. Instead, he's who you deep down know that you kind of are.

I read another book with an unreliable narrator. I just forget which. >.>
And now it's driving me crazy.
AH! I remember now. Utopia. 8D
Hythloday.
The only works I read this year that I really liked were The Raping of the Locke and Turn of the Screw. Turn of the Screw is sooooo good. I may read it again.
Are there ghosts? Is she crazy? We'll never know!
Edit: Want a weird crazy odd kid? Read Vernon God Little. xD
Has so many curse words in it. O.<

I love books like that. Or there's one I read where the guy thinks he's on some kind of trip. The whole time, he keeps hearing these questions and answering them as if it's no big deal. Eventually you find out he was in the mental ward the whole time and the questions are asked by a psychologist.

Neither am I. I keep saying, "I need" or "I want" but it never happens. Instead I keep reading course-related books and going, "Oh man, I really like this. I guess I'll keep it."
Right now my mother's reading one of my books from the Spring term. It's all about stress and the evils it does to one's body. I'm hoping she'll be scared enough to remove some of the junk from her plate. She's seriously overloaded trying to run 2 full-time jobs and be mayor of the town she lives in. x_x (No joke.)

Well I've been making phone calls all day trying to get everything set up. I still got gas and insurance to call up. Trying to do gas right now but been on hold for a long time. Hoping to get through so I can get a quote for their budget plan. I'm trying to redo our budget so we have a better idea of our outgoings.
I've signed the paperwork and the final closing is 8/10 though, so it's official! I've gotten a couple boxes packed already but not totally done. Gosh it's nearly time for hubby to come home and I haven't taken anything out to cook! Oh my...
Well I'll pull out some spaghetti or something...or might wait until he gets in and see what he wants to do.
I'm so excited for moving though!!

Thanks guys. :D
I'm sooo excited and I can't wait to move in. This is a major step for us.
Edit: I'm not going to have internet from the 10th to the 15th now...:( I bet you that's the week Celes Paradi will be running. I really hope someone will think of me and try to pick me up a set. Wendy said she'll try, but I know she's going to school here shortly and she might not be able to get one for herself. It's funny how life will be all quiet and boring and then BAM things change.

Welp, I'm off to clean again. It's all I've done today but with Cole working all the time it's not like he has the energy to deal with it when he comes home. Sigh. This is the downside to entertaining company. One usually wants to make their living space civilized. :/

I'm exceptionally well-read. xD
But then again, I AM an English Major. It's what you get when you have to just read books basically. I was taking two literature classes the first semester, one focusing on poetry and epic poetry. The other focusing on 1500-1800 literature and one lit class the second semester.
And last last year, my very first year of Uni, I had 2 literature classes, one each semester.
And not to mention with reading all those stupid "canon" works, I want to read normal, good stuff like Harry Potter, Artemis Fowl, The Alchymest, Gothic Horror novels and real emo books, like Tess of the D'Urbervilles.

I only like poetry (in school, not really something I'd read in my free time), fantasy, sci-fi, and such.

You have to look to the right stuff for poetry.
I'd NEVER read poetry outside of school, nor would I ever write it.

Rando: I was an English major too. XD But when everyone you hang out with also reads a lot, and are talking about books you haven't read, it feels a lot like not reading enough. <<,,
