I went to class, then my internship, then I grabbed up the hubby and went to a chiropractic appointment and dinner. We just got home not long ago.
It was a good day. Quick, but good. I don't have work tomorrow which bums me out, but what is, is. I do have to go up to the college anyway for group work. I just wish it were $$. xD

Thanks. :3
I'm counting down the days until the semester's out. I consider everything mostly done after December 9th. That's my final day interning, and after that it's just getting my class work done for everything else.

In May, yep. I'm not excited since I'm not done. For me I feel I'm only halfway there. It will be nice to know that if something screws up and I can't do graduate school that I have a backup plan on which to fall though. That does leave me feeling accomplished.
But I get no break before the program begins. It'll be like I grab my diploma and run right into classes again. @ [email protected]

I understand that feeling. I kind of felt like my undergraduate work was like Jr. High. I still have to remind myself that I do *in fact* have a degree. And that there are plenty of jobs out there and I could technically stop here.

How far have you gone in your education?
I kinda feel like my undergraduate experience is a joke. But I'm cynical on a lot of things. :gonk:

*runs through the thread and hugs Chi and Steel*
Evening ladies! Got dental work done. The whole left hand side of my face was numbed up pretty damn good. I go to get the right side done on Thurs. I'm glad it's just a couple of fillings on either side. I'm going to try to keep up with it better to keep from having more cavities, but I feel blessed what little dental work I've had to have done.
Hubby had a post and crown done today, so he's a little sore and loopy on vicodin. Hoping that it heals OK and he's able to get the rest done on him. He had an extraction too to remove what was left of a tooth. He got into a nasty diving accident at age 18 and he's just now getting the last of the work done. (His insurance only covered so much then - he's been at his job for like 3 years but kept on dragging his feet as he kept on saying it was going to be thousands of dollars of work and pain. His insurance is so good it's only $200 out of pocket to do all of his work -fillings, crown, extractions, and probably two cleanings worth of work there at least. I'm riding his butt though to get it all done!!)

Yah well the worst of it I think. I sat and watched them put a screw in his jaw. It was actually very interesting and I was intrigued. I wonder if the dentist found it annoying or not. I didn't talk much, and only asked questions when the tools were down.

@Chi: I've got my B.S. in Biology and finished a year of vet school. I'm taking a break from it right now.
@Izumi: *huggles* I'm glad it was only a little work! Holy cow, your poor husband! Dental work is always hard to bring yourself to get done.

Gotcha. :3~
I want to take a break but this cohort being offered is sort of a "get in on it while you can" type deal. I would love nothing more than to just... not write another paper for a while. >>,,

@Chi: Well, my break was sort of not optional. I had to stop for a bit to get my depression straightened out. Because with the stress of vet school, I was getting so bad I wanted to drive into the train every morning. I was failing classes. And my parents threatened to institutionalize me if I didn't work to get better. It was not so good at all.

Yah but I've been worried about hubby for awhile. His gums are receding on his lower jaw and I've been worried if he keeps it up eventually he'll loose any ability to keep teeth there...I'm glad he's finally mustering up the courage to get caught up to date and I'm going to have to do what I do for his medication and make sure he does it.
I swear sometimes he reminds me of a child!! :P I was threatening to get him a toothbrush that played Miley Cyrus. :P
Edit: Oh jeez Steel!! :hug: I understand completely though. Hubby and I suffer from it and hubby has tried to take his own life before. Well before he met me. His father committed suicide too, and unfortunately he ran into the scene and saw it. He was in his 20s, but still if it were my dad I would of been a big ball of mess too.

@Chi: It's definitely better than it was. Now I'm just trying to get my mind back. I feel like I'm in a fog a lot. And Paxil makes me exhausted all the time. But I've got some time to work it through.
@Izumi: Most men are babies. Oh man, I feel for your husband. I wouldn't be able to deal with that.

I'm glad you went to get help. Lots of people don't out of fear it may get worse, or out of feeling they're strong enough to do it on their own. :hug: Keep chugging along, and hopefully the social supports will help. I'm keeping fingers crossed on that potential new friend.
@Izumi
I couldn't deal with that either. That has to change one's perception.. that poor man. ;_;

Yah he's big enough that he's not nearly the commitment that his mom has with her boyfriend, but at the same time it's the small stuff. I book all his appointments, I pay the bills, and I keep organized of everything. He said to me today that I'm much more organized and he's kinda lost without me. :P
