I went to bed really late last night and couldn't be bothered to get out of bed when I woke up at 9. Instead, I lay there 'till 11. I think it's because I know I have a lot to do today, and I don't want to participate in a lick of it. :XD

I can't get this damn company to pay me and it's driving me nuts. They owe me almost a thousand dollars for three weeks worth of work, and they don't even respond to my email when I send them invoices, but they're perfectly happy to email me with more work for me to do.

I... would refuse until they pay you. That's sounding just a little dangerous. :/

Call them and ask why you're not being paid and express your concerns?

Hey guys, how are thing? I don't know how I did it, but I slept until 2:30 this afternoon. o_0

Let me know what they say. I'd not be doing any more work for them either. That's... a lot of money to pile up. If they have a fax, go ahead and fax them a letter, too. E-Mail, phone calls and a fax? More than enough communication.

Steel, I slept until 11am, which is something I've not done in months. I hope not to do it again. I feel like I've wasted most of the day, or at least felt rushed. I had some errands to take care of, plus I've baking to do tonight. T_T

I feel totally useless. And I need to do laundry, bathe the dogs, and all sort of stuff because I'm going to my parents' house for Thanksgiving. That's an eight hour drive. And I'm staying there for nearly a week. But now I'm all out of sorts and having motivation problems. Blah.

I hear you guys about motivation problems...Today was a massive struggle. I got a little bit done, but not after I had to really push on myself to do it. I've got the clothes packed for the kids, as we're spending a couple of days at my parents.

I'm hoping that Thanksgiving will kinda help everyone's spirits.

I think there must be something in the atmosphere. Because everyone seems to be sleepy and unmotivated today.

Well I'm also not looking forward to the fact that next week is my court date, and it's been constantly going through my mind...

I managed to be productive enough to put the pumpkin pie bars in the oven. I'm the one doing the pumpkin desserts this year, and I want to make sure the recipe is a good one before I subject my family to it.

I figure if Kin doesn't die, it'll suffice. :XD

After I rest my back a bit, I'll be tackling dinner.

Thanks Chi! Hope to get to talk to you soon. Sounds like we'll be busy this weekend so it might be awhile. I'm off tomorrow too and I'm hoping to do a little baking. I'm going to make some Chocolate Chip Shortbread, and maybe some peanut butter cookies. Oh goodness this meal is going to be soooo bad for us. :cry:

Hehe. I think I'll probably end up doing laundry and packing tonight and bathing the girls tomorrow. I really don't feel like bathing them, since it's so muddy here, but they're starting to smell like dogs and I know it will make my mom concerned that I'm not doing well.

It smells heavenly in the kitchen. We're both sitting here going, "We should just skip dinner and eat pie. :drool:"

Because it smells good, this undoubtedly means it'll taste like shit. xD

Hehe. Hopefully the smell and the taste *don't* contradict each other, but I have had that happen a few times. The most notable one was when my sister put 3/4 of a *cup* of baking soda instead of 3/4 of a *tablespoon* in peanut butter cookies. They smelled perfect but they tasted horrendous!

Awww poor Kin...what does he do? Eat the food or not eat the food? ;)

My house smells like homemade pizza since that's dinner tonight. Man this isn't good for either one of us health wise, but it smells so good taste wise. :cry:

I'm feeling kinda stressed/bummed. The more I look at our bank accounts the more I know Christmas is going to pretty much be non-existent for us. The kids will get something small, but that's it...

I have Chinese chicken corn chowder now simmering on the stove top. The pie bars... look okay, but that means nothing until we actually taste them later. :XD

I'm just waiting for the chicken to cook through before adding in the egg white drizzles and miscellaneous to the soup. This one's a new recipe too. Who knows how this will turn out.

I hear ya on the money, too. Evil stuff.
