Well from what I remember I don't think it was you. I was still super excited to get one though as they've become insanely rare, too, and therefore uber pricey. One of these days I'll try questing for the matching tophat and/or the luck of the irish as I love those items too, but just focusing on the items I want most. Right now I'm working on paying off a welcome balloon, which I'm excited to get. :D

I think the most awesome thing the pixelists could make right now is a pair of fuzzy white leg warmers. Those would look nicer then these leg warmers on me now I think.

Oooh, fluffy leg warmers would so totally rock. *snuggles hypothetical leg warmers*

I'm kinda wishing they also made chilly's feet more boot shaped at the top, rather than slippers. Hard to really 'describe', but they layer nice under leg warmers.

Yeah.. I've wanted to get a balloon back for a while now since they repixeled it.. I'm now sore I'd sold it.. due to the fact they were ugly.. originally..

You know I wonder what some of the items look like back in the day. I've heard a few things got remade over when they switched to the current bases.

I think for an avatar site, Menewsha has the best looking one by far. All the other bases look so anatomically incorrect, and then their items are just not as nice.

Also, I think that by far the Menewshans I hang around are much more awesome as well. I looked through a couple of forums which were plagued with immature users and just really boring and hard to follow threads. I just couldn't do it.

Yeah they were basically one flat color and pillowshaded basically.

The welcome shirts were like the basic shirts with a cat on them.

I'd sold mine for that reason as well.. but I managed to find one to buy since I like how it'd changed.

Yeah, I still don't like the completely enormous heads. I'm one for avatars that look more like the girl in Rusa's signature.

I like the shape of the heads. They're more 'doll' shaped. I dunno, if they gave us skinnier heads like that it would loose some of its cute pixel goodness, I think.

Did you see the new Avicaria bases? Oh my word they're ugly.

I'm not as into the anime style, though, or chibis, so that's probably a big factor in my finding the heads large. Also, I have a tiny head. It's really funny if you look at me in certain pictures. Compared to other people in the picture, my head will look teensy.

Actually the basic shirts were much different.. and much better.
They had a wider neck.. resting at the shoulders.. and the welcome shirt was like that.. Actually the reason why I'd sold it was because it had changed... but I suppose I wanted it back. :lol:

Ahhh that's probably why you do find them large, as I think the art style is very much influenced by Japanese popculture (anime, videogames, etc). I don't think I'd change the bases much. It would be cool to have more poses, but at the same time I would expect them to be as high of quality as what we have now.

Edit: Jeez and I bet when you did buy it back, Rus, it was insanely overpriced. That's the thing with items like that...unless I get lucky in a one off raffle or event game I can pretty much put it on the 'impossible' list.
