It'll be quiet for us I think. It's Kin's birthday, but I don't know what we're doing. Maybe just putzing. We won't have my nephew after school today, so we have some time.

Kinda feeling jealous of you right now, Chi. *sighs* Been watching the whole dateline special on that father and his son who was taken to Brazil by the mother and it's just making me want kids. I hate the exwife, I really do. -_-

Because there are so many rules to it, and they always portray the other people in the worst light possible.

Yah it sounded like it. I don't think the mother should of ever been allowed to take the kid that far away from his father, in the first place. In fact, I don't think that women should do that unless in extreme circumstances. It really sucks for dads. I have a friend of Aaron's who never married his exgirlfriend but they had a kid, and she decided a few years later she wanted to move to another state to be with family, when they had met and lived in michigan the entire time. Well I don't blame the guy for not wanting to move - there was nothing there for him. She got herself settled, living with her family, having more money than she even needs to get by and what does she do - files for child support. While my friend has lost his job and is on unemployment too. :/ Really shitty.

But I think the whole thing that choked me up is the dad really genuinely cared about his kid THAT much...to fight it for several years like that. Just kinda made me feel a bit broody and felt like I was missing out on that feeling. I care about my step kids, but in the back of my mind I just kind of have to let it go or I'd be a walking wreck. Their mother has already made it clear that in her eyes I have no say in what goes on in their lives, and has told me that she's personally told them I don't matter to them. And you know it hurts, as this is the only kids I'll have unless I end up with an 'oops baby' (as my dad so wonderfully used the term to describe his friends surprised kid...) as Aaron really doesn't want to go through it again. And I don't blame him after what happened.

Well for now I'll just put my nose in my studies and hopefully I'll dedicate my line of work to make other kid's lives better.

I haven't replied due to feeling too tired to.

Therefore, I'll just say, "Still selling/buying!"

I've decided not to do much today. So I'm sitting on my futon in fuzzy pajamas that my grandparents gave me for Christmas watching "Drag Me to Hell" and drinking a Pepsi. It is a good day.

I'll be making pizza at some point tonight. I have some GF crusts in the freezer and a block of dairy-free mozzarella.

I'm totally thinking that I'm going to order pizza for dinner. Haha, we all totally influence each other's dinners around here.

Edit: Oh god, there is an adorable kitten in this show! If anything happens to that kitten I will be LIVID.
