As it turns out, I was the only one that needed to be awake. Chi's and the rugrat's schools were both canceled. :)

I'm awake too...
The first eventful thing of the day was the toilet overflowing. I got to mop it up afterward...Probably need to bleach the floor next.
Apparently I disrupted the natural order of the universe - aaron is suppose to get up first. (According to him. :XD)

Oooh, toilet overflows suck, Izumi.
Thanks Sammi! Unfortunately the weather here is awful. We're snowed in until at least tomorrow. XD

I dunno what time I need to go to bed at night to wake up rested in the morning. I don't seem satisfied with anything under 10 hours, and it's just not feasible.

I recommend a minimum of 15 hours of sleep each day.

Fifteen!
I've been sleeping 7 the last few days, but that won't last. I'm told that the healthiest amount of sleep is in multiples of 1.5 hours, so 7.5 would be the best, but that's not adding in how long it takes to fall asleep or any time you wake up in the night.

I tend to wake up several times in the night if I have an alarm set for the following morning. If I know I can sleep all I want, it's much more peaceful. Funny how that works. x.x

You're waiting for the alarm. I do that if I have something really important that I'm scared of oversleeping and missing.

So what is everyone up to tonight? I have some beef tenderizing in a pot, gonna make "beef tips" and gravy once it's tender enough. My nephew needs to stay awake until then. x.O;

It's hard, and I'm a TERRIBLE procrastinator. Haven't really started working on important, long term projects.
CHI IS CUUUUTE. In fact, you are comparable to a chibi.

Today has been alright. I mean it hasn't really been good or bad. I'm actually looking forward to the weekend though, so I can get a little ahead on things for my classes instead of kinda doing it the day of or before it being due. Well I guess there isn't too much wrong with that, especially if it's reading as it'll be fresh in my mind.
I've also booked 8 hours of work too, over the weekend, so I'm not going to be completely void of stuff to do. Plus I have the hamper full again so I'll need to run some laundry for sure.

Sounds like you'll be busy, Izumi! I will be as well. Yesterday was my first day back at work, and my new schedule has me working Saturday morning and Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights. Which will actually be nice because that gives me Wednesday, Thursday, and Fridays off.
Is school still going well for you? Nothing you're too behind on?

Nah I'm not behind on anything right now, actually. I'm keeping up fairly well.
School is going fairly smoothly for now. I don't have any grades though to measure my success...way too early for that. I've got a girl I'm tutoring in my Elementary Algebra class, as I'm taking it for a refresher (and it's the lowest I need for my associates, anyhow) and I figure it'll do me some good. Man I'm really looking forward to getting that form around to release funding.
Speaking of forms, I'm getting really anxious for our W-2s - I want to get crunching those numbers and get our returns ASAP.

Heh. I've never heard anyone so excited about taxes before. :) Goof. I bet it will be a big relief to have funds available, though.

Yep. Well when you think about it, Steel, I can't do another FAFSA *until* I get those damned W-2s and I hate waiting until the last minute to get that crap done. What if I need to petition it yet again?
I'm thinking that this year will be harder to do on my own. We've gotten married, moved and we've been collecting unemployment. I'll read the manual and attempt myself, and try contacting the office if any questions but I've been tempted to hand it over to another company to file. The only thing is the tightwad in me doesn't want to pay for something I could do myself. I did all my tax return stuff by hand last year, then typed it up using the computer so I could print a nice fresh copy to send off. I think this year since I do the filing and know where last years crap is I'll just submit all online. I'll grab paper forms though so I can sit offline and work on it.
I kind of enjoy it...as long as I'm getting money back. I hate paying out. :\

@Izumi
If you made less than 31,000 (AGI) or qualify for EIC, then you can use the tax freedom edition of turbotax for free, which means next to nothing for me, but in your case it's great because MI is a free file alliance state.
(Maine is not :()
