Ohhh I've seen like these little horseshoe shaped things that hatch from the packet...they always call them living fossils or dinosaurs. I originally picked up one of those, as I've never done those before but That was $11 while the sea monkeys were only $6. I figured we'd start with sea monkeys first and hopefully someone will remember for like a joke birthday or Christmas gift to get me one of those sets. I would be geeked. :XD

I would love to do my own ant farm eventually too. Out of that weird clear space gel stuff. That looks so awesome.

I don't know why either...just it's cool. I much prefer animals like a cat, which you can interact with but those little kits are fun just to watch them grow and swim about. I've thought about having real fish at times but I really hate the thought of having to touch them. I'm not as grossed out by things that size...well that and it isn't as difficult to clean their tank...

I'm definitely more for reptiles and slimy things than cats or dogs.

I've no interest in owning a snake, but I could have a whole stockpile of turtles and frogs and be right in my glory. :XD

I like furry things that have personality. Except guinea pigs. They suck.

Sorry I got distracted last night. Aaron wanted to tinker on the computer, while talking to the kids. Apparently we are getting them this weekend. Also, before he finished talking to stepson, stepson said he loved him and then Aaron of course said he loved him too. A couple seconds passed and he goes "Wait...Dad...Tell Tara I love her too.". When Aaron told me it gave me the biggest smile. Hearing him say that is like music to my ears. I'm sure there's plenty of step parents who try for years to get the affection from their step kids, something that given a little time seemed to come naturally.

Of course they don't live with us on a day to day basis, so that does help a lot...but still. =3

I'm so excited to see them, and I hope to spend some time doing something together as a family!
