Today's been interesting thus far..

I left for class this morning and nearly slid off the road 4 times due to black ice. Me being me, I thought I was being neurotic. I've not been able to drive in "bad weather" since I went off the road last winter. My stomach knots, I stop breathing... essentially, I panic. I'm trying to just get over it, because the winters here aren't going to change.

I get to class, after making a 25 minute drive into 45, and after, head back toward work, across the same roads as before. Slippery yet again.

I spot this huge pile of traffic, and so I stop. A guy crashed his truck into a telephone pole and completely snapped it. The sucky part? Him smashing into it didn't knock the power out. A rescue team had to come and turn the power off in order to get him out. His truck is totaled. They said no one was hurt, but I don't know how they weren't.

Guess I'm not really neurotic after all. Not looking forward to driving BACK to campus tonight for my late class. :(

Yeah, smelly got pissy at Bucky because he wouldn't let him drive to Cutler today to deliver the lobsters...

Me too hun! And I totally understand the whole panic attack thing. I have a fear of driving, or had anyways and it took the longest time to coax myself out of it. I'd probably still panic in bad weather though. I'm far more comfortable having Aaron drive, but I know I'll need to suck it up too. :<

Smell Pissy Bucky? Cute code names there Kin! :XD My father has funny names for the people he works with that he can't stand, and one of his guys he's friends with draws some hilarious cartoon sketches of the people at work to accompany them. My dad actually holds onto all his artwork he gives him too as he does such an awesome job on just a piece of scratch paper and a pen. I thought the drawing of my dad was hilarious. They sit and talk to eachother like southern black people and gave themselves stupid names, so he drew him with a huge afro, and a huge chain around his neck with his initials. It was awesome.

I still don't want to bother with class tonight, but there's no way the junk wouldn't finish melting by then. Plus they've been sanding, and I don't think it's going to freeze before I'm done.

Gonna snow tomorrow before/during class though, freakin' yay!

And I can see why he didn't want him to go to Cutler. Wow. Ironically, I met them once the road cleared. They were waiting on the other side (along with about fifteen other cars).

We put the card table in here, next to the tag printer, and that now holds the printer/copier and hole punchers. I'm at the desk that stuff used to rest upon.

I have no slide-out pen/pencil holder (it's full of stuff), but that doesn't bother me. It's not like I'll be heavily into paperwork stuff. I just got some Post-Its and a legal paid. I told Mom I'm going to count the hours before someone steals everything. 9_9

I expect everything on your desk will be gone by tuesday. :)

Anyone still home? Just got home from school. Didn't get my form I need for taxes yet, so I can't start those. Drats. (I am looking forward to finishing it just so I know what to expect...)

Man I'm really not much in the mood for doing anything productive at the moment...what's new? :XD Spaghetti I think it is. Or maybe Chilli. Use up a couple cans of tomatoes...I have them coming out my ears since they're on sale. :XD

Also: Doing your taxes by hand on a form is very VERY 1994. Particularly when it's so ridiculously reasonable, automatic, quick and safe to do it online...
