I don't need nearly as much sleep as she does. :)

I can cover most days on 4-6 hours.

Heya Kin! Yeah, and I'm working up a bit of gold tonight (amazing how gossiping about boys can do that :P). But it's a long way to go before I get my first outfit.

Edit: Holy cow, man! I have to get at least nine hours, preferably twelve if I'm to function the next day. (I am seriously not looking forward to third and fourth year rounds)

I mostly just throw gold at commons whenever I'm in a girly-dressing mood. I've got most of an outfit cooked up for her once I get the new CIs for the month.

They generally do on most avatar sites. I think because generally the population is mostly female on those sites anyway. But it does kind of suck to not have decent items for guys.

That's the nature of the beast on avatar sites, I know. I've just learned to roll with the punches.

I just opened songbird to listen to some music and realized what a daunting task it's going to be to get all of my music imported and arranged properly into iTunes when my laptop gets here friday...

Yeeeesh. That sounds incredibly unpleasant. That's always my least favorite part of getting a new laptop or phone: transferring everything over. Phones are getting a tiny bit better with the SIM card, but if you lose your phone or the SIM card doesn't want to transfer? It sucks hardcore.

...or if you're on a network that doesn't use SIM cards. :)

Wow. Were you with AT&T back then, or with the old Cingular (I'm still amused that my Leadership professor totally predicted that Cingular would take the AT&T name when Cingular took over AT&T wireless).

My phone was a Cingular branded phone, but I think they were AT&T by the time I left.

Actually, I think they were still dual-branding then.

I should really know exactly when they took over AT&T because my stepgrandmother works fairly high up in management with them, heh. But I've a terrible sense of time.

Me, too. Someone was talking about a '99 truck they were looking at with 125,000 miles on it, and I had to be reminded that was, like, 11 years ago. :)

Oh man, don't remind me of that! That makes me feel sooo old. Haha. This year is the tenth anniversary of "Ten Things I Hate About You", according to a facebook ad, and it just kills me to know that, because I totally bought the VHS when it came out.

Same. It was made worse by the fact that I graduated in 1999. :)

Hehe, I'm a little luckier there. I graduate high school in 2004 and college in 2008. So at least I feel less old. But it does NOT feel like it's been two whole years since graduating college. I remember my last semester of undergrad better than I remember last year in vet school, though, so that may be part of it.

Yeah, I'm an old fogey. I'm going to feel like a REALLY old fogey when I end up going back to school after Chi finishes grad school.

I just know I can't make my living the way I'm doing it now for too much longer, and I need to get into a profession where I'm using my brain more than my brawn (which is also ample)

Luckily, non trads are more common these days, so I bet they'll be at least a few people who are older than you in your classes.

The simple fact that I'm bigger and stronger than nearly everyone around really isn't a question of immodesty. It's one of the few things about myself about which I feel I can brag. :)

In reference to the other topic of discussion, the best description I've heard was that I'm one part polar bear, one part grizzly bear and one part teddy bear. :)

Kinda wandered off as I went to call my parents at their house to see if mom got let out of hospital, but found out they're keeping her. Even after finding out she doesn't have angina and loading her up on 3 different blood pressure medications simultaneously they haven't been able to get her blood pressure down to a safe level. She has a sonogram in the morning to see if it is some sort of blockage in a main artery to her kidneys. (Renal Artery Stenosis I think she said...)

I'm hoping they're able to figure out what the hell is causing it so she can get to the bottom of it. They've been giving her a cocktail of drugs - including Xanax (at her suggestion), and so far it hasn't been helping.

I'm going to give her a call tomorrow after school to see how she's doing. I might try the house first on the odd chance she's been discharged. Not too hopeful though. :/

Anyways, Bedtime now for me. Psych class tomorrow!
