Holy cow! So I signed up, voted, and commented. I hope you get it!

You have no idea how grateful I am.
Thank you so much!

steelmagghia 02-04-2010 11:32 PM

You're more than welcome, my dear. I made it through undergrad with no loans and it has made my life so much easier. I like to help other people to sort of give back.

Chi 02-04-2010 11:32 PM

Holy smokes, that's tight! Have faith though. :hug:

When my nephew goes off to shower I'll watch and comment. I just finished signing up. :3

Edit: Man, my loan debt will be close to 100k by the time I'm done. But my field will be high-paying and our costs of living low, so it's not as scary as it sounds.

That, and if I play my cards right, because of my field my employer will help pay off some of my loans after I work there for a couple years.

Winter Wind 02-04-2010 11:38 PM

/cheers Chi on

I'm so glad that my friend referred me to a scholarship site.
>w<
At least I can say I tried, right? :3

Chi, whatchu going to be? :3

@Steel: I'll do that later in life. ^_____^

steelmagghia 02-04-2010 11:40 PM

@Chi: Oh, no worries. Vet school costs aroun $100,000 for the four years. Most vets have around $200,000 in debt before they get out, though. Mine will be aroun $120,000 (because of the year break). Too bad we don't get paid like doctors, though. :/

Holy cow, guys! I think I discovered a way around the belt! What do you think of this avatar? Does it look finished to you?

Winter Wind 02-04-2010 11:42 PM

THat's so cute!
I'd suggest...a different hat.
The white on it kinda throws me off, and there's no white in other places.
...or maybe I'm just insanely picky. xD;
You need more gold.
Try gold Gloves?
Maybe gold sleeves?
Gold belt?
And you need some solid gold shoes.

Chi 02-04-2010 11:46 PM

I'm bad at making avatars. :XD I have no suggestions to give, but I like it very much.

Windy, I'll be a licensed clinical professional counselor. I've applied to graduate school, so if I'm accepted and make it through all four years (I should), I just have to pass the state licensing exam and I'm there. If I'm accepted, grad school begins about a few weeks after I graduate this May. ^_^

And comment posted! <3

steelmagghia 02-04-2010 11:47 PM

Yeeaaah, those things aren't going to happen. There is only one other hat that even comes close to maybe working, and it's too light of purple. I'm actually wearing a gold cuff on my left arm, but the gold blends into my skin tone. And solid gold shoes take away from the pink (which is why I picked the sandals in the first place). The gold is just an accent color.
Also...ninety nine gold ain't gonna buy me much, and I *am* trying to save up for the Valentine's event. ;)

Winter Wind 02-04-2010 11:50 PM

Thank you Chi! >w< !!!!

Counselor?
like...psychology?
o-o!!!!
I wanted to go in that field, but I'm not sure if I want psychology or just general neuroscience.

@Steel: then it looks awesome.
xD<3

steelmagghia 02-04-2010 11:52 PM

Thanks for the advice, though! And holy cow! Thanks for the donation. *snuggles*

Winter Wind 02-04-2010 11:57 PM

Mhmm.

x3

I should do my homework...

steelmagghia 02-04-2010 11:58 PM

I added a gold belt (then it's all savings time). What do you think? Then I shall totally let you go do homework. Hehe.

Chi 02-05-2010 12:04 AM

Yep, a counselor/psychologist. It's been a very fun field thus far! :XD

Sorry I poofed. I don't even know where I went. O_o;

steelmagghia 02-05-2010 12:07 AM

I have that problem, too, Chi. I think the computer has to nom my brain for a few minutes.

Winter Wind 02-05-2010 12:07 AM

I don't think that gold belt is as...bright as the other golds.
@[email protected];
But I dunno what else you could put there. D:

@Chi: Ooooh, I see!
I kinda wanted to be a teenager counselor type, but lately I'm find more interest in the biology and chemistry behind it.
x3
I'll have to decideee, but can I PM you or something once in a while about psychology fields? :3

Chi 02-05-2010 12:08 AM

I got my nephew some cereal, and then looked at my prescription prenatals to see the difference compared to the ones I had been taking. Man, the midwife wasn't kidding. :XD With the Celiac thing they're going to pound me with extra vitamins. I really hope they don't agitate my stomach.

Edit: Windy, of course. I'd love to help if I can!

Winter Wind 02-05-2010 12:11 AM

@Yayy. :3

Celiac? o-o?
Midwife? ...homebirth? :3

steelmagghia 02-05-2010 12:12 AM

@Windy: Yeah, it isn't as bright, but this is now the second belt I've bought to try with it. I hate not being able to try on items with my current outfit (MAC and I aren't friends, either). It will do. And I think it's more finished looking anyway. I like it. :D

@Chi: Yeah, think about it, though. Even a completely normal, healthy woman ends up getting a huge amount of extra vitamins when pregnant. Add to that that you have to have a diet that may leave you lacking in some vitamins, and your doctors are going to go insane with the vitamins to ensure the baby is healthy.

Chi 02-05-2010 12:13 AM

Yeah, I'm allergic to wheat and gluten, and casein/all dairy to boot. :XD And it's linked with the intestines not absorbing vitamins and minerals like they should. I had 8 vials of blood drawn yesterday since they're checking pretty much everything under the sun. The baby seemed highly active though. Flailing all around. Man, even typing that got me excited all over again. I fail. :XD

Not a home birth, but I would like to have a midwife with me if at all possible. They said it depends on how the pregnancy goes and if it seems like I'm low risk. With the exam they gave me they said my body can definitely handle natural birthing. Huzzah!

Winter Wind 02-05-2010 12:14 AM

@Steel: If you think it looks great, then it looks awesome. :3

@Chi: o-o...wow. I'm so glad I'm not allergic to anything, or else I'd die of hunger. /eats everything in sight
xD;
8 vials of bloood...I can't stand needles.
I had to get two needles shoved into my mouth to fill a cavity yesterday, and I was like...about to cry but didn't.
/wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiimp T.T;

Oooh, that's good! ^___^
Hope it all goes well. <3

Chi 02-05-2010 12:16 AM

I don't like needles either. If I don't have to look (and I refuse), I tend to do better. I just laid down yesterday since I didn't want to deal with passing out. It happened the last couple times. I got really light headed and blacked out a bit. >>b

I can still eat quite a bit, but it's the convenience food that's off limits. I get SO tired of cooking everything though. (I don't do all the cooking here, but I mean I get tired of knowing cooking has to BE done, that we can't just toss a pizza in the oven. XD)

And thank you. ^-^!!

steelmagghia 02-05-2010 12:17 AM

You don't fail! Becoming a mother *should* be exciting. Every little step of the way!
You have fun with that natural birth. I like my drugs, thankyouverymuch. Hehe. Or are you referring to natural vs. C-section? Because in that case, I think natural is better (though C-section infants look prettier...they don't get the cone head going, hehe).

@Windy: Indeed! That's all that really matters, in the end. But I do like other people to like my avatars as well. And if I had unlimited gold, I'd totally still be working on it, but that would be ridiculous. Your newest look is awesome, just so you know.

Chi 02-05-2010 12:20 AM

Oh, I mean natural versus C-Section. I'm not gonna close my mind to the idea of drugs, but if I can do it without, I'll give it my best. I doubt I can though. :XD

It's just that the last two vertebrae of my back are damaged and the thought of an epidural seems a little much to bear. If there are other pain meds, I'd like to look into that first.

Yeah, the cone head thing... poor babies. Haha! I've thought about that too. C-Section babies do tend to be prettier. At least the cone head goes away quickly. XD
