That's good, about the apartment. And good that you have a chiropractic appointment since your back is out.
Yeah, I think it's just that I'm not used to feeling really "up" and when the endorphins left, it was like a huge crash for me. I'm emailing my aunt, anyway. She's my psychiatrist.

It's good to have someone who's always an open ear. Sometimes it helps just to vent it all out.

Indeed. And she's so much better than just a random psychiatrist, too. Don't get me wrong, I love shrinks (seriously, I have an affinity for counselors, they make my life better), but my aunt can also be an aunt. So she can spend thirty minutes counseling me at random times and then listen to me talk about anatomy and help me with things. It's very nice.

Oh!! Do you mean she's actually your psychiatrist? I thought you had meant that she was just always there for you for advice and consoling when you're in a downer. Or am I reading into it too much?

Haha, no, no, she is *actually* my psychiatrist. She was a doctor, but she hated general practice, so she went into psychiatry. She prescribes my meds and everything. Which is really good, because she can tell better than someone else when the medication is just not quite right.

It is helpful to have someone really know you and observe. :yes: Family tends to know more than not!
I always thought practitioners weren't allowed to treat family, but come to think of it, I never did check if that's true. o.o Or it could vary state to state. That's why I was confused at first.

Most practitioners just choose not to treat their family. Which is understandable. Especially if, say, it's your child. What kid is going to ask their mom about their sexual health? You know?
My family is really open about things, though, and we're all screwed up somehow (seriously...every woman in my family is either clinically depressed, bipolar, or has a borderline personality disorder....we're a fun lot). So I don't worry about telling her things.
Edit: And I do have a non-family primary car physician to monitor things as well. And I occasionally go to a psychologist who consults with my aunt.

I half expect my cousin to ask if I can be her counselor, once I'm able. I'll probably have to tell her no. I know her very well, but in the past she's been very dependent on me. It could be part of her autism. She does much better (from what I've seen) when she has people from the outside trying to get her to form goals.
Sorry for disappearing. I was getting a snack. D:

No worries. I got some Farmville done in the meantime. Hehe.
Yeah, sometimes you just can't use family members. I worry about everyone wanting me to treat their animals when I'm a vet. I can't imagine what would happen if one of them died on me. :/
Edit: I'm going to go walk the girls. See you in a bit.

I may be gone by the time you get back. If so, I should be on later tonight... probably between 7 and 8pm EST. I'll be coming home and making dinner and then popping back on.
I can't wait to get to the chiropractor. Holy hell I hurt. D<

Murr. I painted my nails, took a nice bath, dressed up super pretty, and put on makeup and everything and I'm still super down. Like, threatening to cry randomly. What the freaking heck?

Did your aunt mention anything about meds? You had mentioned to us about how you had taken your Adderall and felt much better. Did you miss a dosage? I wonder if it's messed up hormones?
I really don't know the medication or what effects may be. :( I'm just wishing for you to feel better. It has to suck, as it sounds like you're trying to stuff that normally makes you feel better.

Blargh, pretty badly.
School is completely screwed up right now, so I need to get my homework ready for tomorrow, along with a list of complaints about the school tossing me between classes like a hot potato. :c
What about you? <3

Yeah, that's why I went ahead and emailed her. I've been on Adderall for four years now, so I doubt it's that, unless it's interfering with my Paxil, which it shouldn't. I'll see what she says. It's getting a bit absurd. I've only eating a fun size bag of chips and a granola bar today, too.

@Magi
What's going on with them tossing you between classes?? Definitely make that list.
@Steel
Are you just not hungry due to feeling down? Even if you're not up to eating, you should try and cram down some protein. That's really not enough to eat. :(
Lemme know what your aunt says. I'm curious. Maybe it was just a huge hormone flux. You went really really high and good, crashed down, but an equilibrium will be met soon? I'm completely ignorant when it comes to the medication aspect. I just know through friends and family that often it needs to be adjusted, and sometimes things just no longer work the way they were meant to.

@ Chi - Long story short, they've rejected me for course changes, after accepting me, and now, they've reversed my timetable, so I have a full schedule. And the class they stuffed me in, was the one I tried to get into at the beginning of the semester, and then, it was full. So I'm gonna straighten out my schedule, so I can get my periods back in order before next week, because it's really confusing me. x-x;;

*goes on a rampage and knocks some heads*
I wonder if they'll at least acknowledged that they confirmed you first, and now they're taking it back? What a whirlwind...
So what does this mean? Will you be out the classes you need to take? Could you take them another semester? What year are you? /questionbox

She's checking to make sure I don't have any other signs of mania (to make sure I haven't shown some latent bipolar tendencies). But if I'm not showing mania, then it's mostly hormonal, which we can't do anything about.
And, yeah, I'm not hungry because I'm down. I ate the granola bar just to make sure I didn't pass out at work. As long as I don't let my hypoglycemia act up, one day of not eating won't hurt me too much.

xD;
They won't even admit that they called my mom about the class change. And, with any course change, they're supposed to have parental permission. When they switched my schedule today, they put me in drama in a matter of minutes, printed out a new schedule, and sent me on my merry way. :P
So, I'm gonna talk to them about that as well.
The class/period I keep having trouble with is basically a free class. All the classes I transferred into/out of, they were all classes that I already had credits for. So this is just a mulligan, so to speak.
Drama is an art credit, and I already have one, so it's still basically a mulligan, so I shouldn't have too much regret about changing it around to get it straight.
If that makes sense. xD;
And whenver they tried to make me take a full-credit course, it would ruin my plan for next year, when I had them all planned, but in a different category.
Example - They wanted me to take Canadian History for a Soc. Studies credit, but I had a plan to take African Canadian studies next year, so it would be rather redundant.
</rant>
xD;
