Things here are going pretty well. The baby's just fine, and I've been accepted into graduate school. Kin's been accepted into undergraduate school, too. We're both going to be using loans for a while to live off from, but it was a necessary evil. Work got too... erm... infuriating for him. He's tired of not using his potential, so he's going for Registered Nursing.

All in all, lots of changes. Lots. All seem positive though!

haha...searching since july of last year. >,> There is a freeze at the moment. But, by the time kin finishes everything will have sorted itself out. There are a lot of lpn/cna positions open b/c it's cheaper to employ them. Older RNs are holding onto their jobs b/c of the economy...blah...blah..blah.

So I'm trying to get help finding something while I pursue a rn-bsn program. Although lately I've been tempted by the idea of going for nurse practitioner...but I'm not sure if I want to go for it.

He's thinking of going for nurse practitioner, but not until much later on. He'd rather work, get the debt paid off, and then reevaluate.

I figure that my degree will transfer wherever, so if we need to move for work, then we need to move. It'll work out eventually. D: <3

Whatcha up to today? I met my cousin for breakfast this morning, and then came home to pick up a little. Nothing major, just mostly trash. I'm hoping this week Cole and I will get the place cleaned, little by little. Our lease is up soon, and last year they dropped by without notice. If they were to come today they'd be appalled. >>; *cough*

Sorry I didn't get back to you until now. We went in the car to drop off books then ended up taking a detour. Aaron showed me where he use to live when he was 10 until the time he moved out of his parent's house. Then we went out to the northwest side of GR and did a little Easter shopping. This is the first Easter we have the kids, so we bought these adorable baskets that were half off - Tristan gets a blue dragon, and Pam gets the baby lamb. We bought a couple treats to put in the basket...nothing major. I think we're spending it here at home with them and possibly going to see my folks afterwards. I bought my mom a gag gift - it's a cylinder that looks like a sheep. You shake it and it baas - the more you shake it, the crazier the baas get. It so has my mom written all over it. She loves sheep and it's just kinda zany. Everything at Hobby Lobby was half off for all their Easter stuff which was pretty awesome.

We did a little more putzing about. Aaron got Guitar Hero Metallica used from Blockbuster for $10. I finally broke down and bought myself a watch for $15 from Target. All in all we had a fun diversion from home. I enjoyed it.

Sounds like it was a much needed trip. :3

Not sure what I'll do today. Whether or not I go "do" anything depends on when Cole gets back from work. He's not left yet. :XD
