I'm in the process of getting ready to go out of town for groceries and dinner. It's been an odd day, and I just wanna get out. A lot of my friends are having troubles and it makes me sad. ;_;
Yours?

Aww *hugs*
I know that feeling hon.
My day has been great, actually. Good day at work, did a little swimming when I got home, the sun is shining so I'm out on my balcony with the girls. Good day.

That sounds heavenly. It was sunny and gorgeous here for a while, but it snowed yesterday. o_O How weird.
Tomorrow it's going back up into the 40s, but we had high 50s for a while.

It was doing that here for a while as well. You think it's weird there, try having it happen in Texas. The wtf factor is pretty high then. Haha.

Hope you feel better too, Chi. xx
I'm alright. Haven't gotten much done academic wise this weekend though. Was hoping to do a little more research for that paper. :/
Other than that I'm alright.

I'm actually proud of my exhaustion. I got up early, took a shower before work, worked well, but not too hard, came home, walked the girls, swam, tanned, hung out with the girls, did dishes, did the laundry. It's just I'm not used to doing that much in a day, so now I'm totally wiped out.
I'm sorry you're feeling blah, dear. You know I'd be happy to listen if you need it.

Sorry you still around Steel? I put my flute down and I'm in the mood to talk, if you've got the time.
I'm overall ok. I found out today that I got kicked off the project I was working for from home, so even if I wanted to work I couldn't. It sucks but at the same time I'm not too worried, yet.
I guess I'm kinda dreading balancing the books for a start. Aaron wants to go on a spur of the moment vacation during spring break for a night in Chicago and he got upset when I wouldn't even humor him. The thing is there's plenty of things around here we need money for so I can't justify it...nor do I really feel in the mood. I hate leaving our house for more then a few hours. I worry about the state of it and our cats...whether they're out of food or water, or they need their box changed. I find in my old age I really don't want to go far.
Oh and there's other little things niggling me. Old friends who have kinda betrayed me and its upsetting me.
----------
I say betray...I guess they've just disappointed me. I fell out with a fellow collector because I got sick of her behavior and beating around the bush. I told her politely how I felt many times, yet she continued the behavior and it seemed every week she was IMing me and saying 'oh whoops I bought this...gotta hide it from hubby'. It really started to irk me. She eventually started to rack up $800 bills with the Japanese contact I use to do business with and then get all worked up over how she was going to pay it without her husband knowing. She told me how she kept things put away and only played with things one at a time so he wouldn't notice. At the time I was doing 30+ hours at work (while she continued to be jobless) and I could barely justify a $50 treat let alone some of the debt she was getting herself in.
One night, very short tempered me went off on her and when she was trying to get me to buy excess crap she bought so she could cover the costs of one of her shopping sprees she asks me if I wanted to buy something off her. I told her no I wanted her to tell her fucking husband all the crap she's been up to. I said it just like that. And she immediately said we couldn't be friends, blocked me from everything. Wouldn't be so bad if she's not a.)involved in the forum I'm suppose to be moderating and b.)also turning my friends there against me. *sighs*

I'm wondering if her friends knew her actions whether or not they'd approve. What she's doing is dishonest, especially if she's not working her own wages to pay for it. I can't imagine doing that to Cole. But, I also have a friend who doesn't work (I can't say that; she works by raising the kids, and that is a job) but manages the budget. Many times there's money for things she wants or needs and nothing for what he wants or needs. That sort of thing. Plus, she was told to pay off the credit card(s) with the tax return, didn't, blahblah.
People make it work regardless. I just try and focus on what Cole and I do. Many people look at us oddly for keeping our personal checking accounts separate. To me it just saves a huge headache. We'd never agree on what to do with the extra money other than eating out. :XD
Side note, getting out for the night was a nice recharge. Now I need to go cook up some tasty things since we're going to our friends' house tonight.

Glad you're feeling better, Chi.
I guess it's pissing me off as I want to get back into the tamagotchi community but I feel like that whole mess is kinda in the background and I'm sure she's told everyone she's come into contact about how big of a bitch I am. A couple of my friends who are friends of hers have gone kinda awol and that's what has me thinking she's filled them full of crap. I seriously just had enough of it. I told Aaron about the crap she pulled on her husband and he flat out said that if I tried that shit he'd divorce me. It's not fair and it's very two faced. The sad thing is one month she was seriously contemplating putting her house mortgage payment on hold to pay for a lot of Devilgotchs on Yahoo Japan auctions. It went for well over $500 if I remember right...(those things will go for over a hundred a piece on ebay...she has 4 of those...she has to collect one of every shell type... :roll:)

I think you should go right back into the community head first. I really do. Just jump right back in and see what happens. Screw the few that are judging you based on things they hadn't even interacted with you about. You may be surprised that very few are shunning you.
Once you get back into it, I think it'll smooth out. The other person can just go thppt. She's more than likely upset because you have a point, and she already feels guilty for what she does.

Thanks for the moral support, Chi! :) I'm kinda thinking of logging again this time...however I don't want to get myself too wrapped up in commitments with life being fairly busy. If nothing else, I'll make it a point to be more active and engage in conversations there. (Well assuming they're not really immature...that's the problem when your hobby is collecting toys...you tend to draw kids into it...)
I just got done with a brisk walk outside. I feel really good and pumped now. Not quite sure what to do with myself. Wish there was some kind of physical activity Aaron and I both enjoy that we can do together. I use to love playing badminton (sp?) in PE. Aaron thinks it's boring though. :(

I need to go walking more. I say it, yet never do it unless I'm on campus. My stamina is shit right now, too. I don't know why. It wasn't this bad before pregnancy. >_>;

It might have to do with you carrying extra weight. Your body has to work harder to compensate for it. :(
I need to make sure I keep up doing it on a regular basis so I can keep somewhat healthy.
How are you Chi? I have an hour before I have to get going to class. Not any homework due. I do have to perform a sketch for my emergency health course and we have only really talked about it...so I hope it goes ok.

I don't have extra weight. I've lost weight. :XD Kinda wondering if the new iron and B12 supplements I'm on will give me a boost in a couple weeks.
I'm alright. I'll be back later though (hopefully before you go). Cole and I are watching last night's Family Guy. :3
