Nice.
Oh man, your socks change every time I look at you. It's messing with my head. Haha.

Izumi 04-09-2010 02:17 PM

LOL. *hypnotizes steel with her changing socks* :XP

steelmagghia 04-09-2010 06:55 PM

EEEE!!! Kin just updated his facebook status with the baby's gender. I'm so excited! I'll let Kin and Chi make the actual announcement on here, though.
*squee*

Winter Wind 04-09-2010 11:42 PM

WAIT I WANNA KNOW

TELL MEEEE

Izumi 04-10-2010 12:14 AM

EEEE! *runs off to check it*

We got the dishwasher running!!!! Wheee!!

I had to show him how to load it. ROFL.

Winter Wind 04-10-2010 12:16 AM

Nice!
I'm going to fail at being a housewife...I can't cook, wash clothes, or clean. T_T

Izumi 04-10-2010 12:19 AM

AWWWW I'M SO JEALOUS! (Will tell you why after you announce here later....:XD)

Mmmm I'm proud of the job that Aaron did too. He didn't make too much of a mess of our lovely cabinets. For this being a trailer it is very nicely done and feels about as close to a house as a trailer can get....I mean I have nice wooden looking cabinets and the whole color scheme is nice and earthy tones.

Winter Wind 04-10-2010 12:21 AM

o-o?
Wait, why're you jealous?

That's good! :3

Izumi 04-10-2010 12:24 AM

I told you Windy, I can't say yet...If I did, you'd easily figure out what it is. I'm still jealous. :XD

I just got back from doing some emergency babysitting for my friend who has a 2, 4, and 6 year old. The 2 and 4 year old are still working on being potty trained. I changed the 2 year old probably about 4 or 5 times in the 5 hours I watched him. The 4 year old had to be changed once for an accident. The 4 year old is cute kid, but I tell you what he has some sort of issue with him. He's CONSTANTLY getting himself in trouble. The 2 and 6 year old are not any bother to watch...they get their nose into stuff they shouldn't, but it isn't nearly as frequent and bad as the 4 year old. :/

Winter Wind 04-10-2010 12:33 AM

HEY.
D:

o-o.
Kids sound like a nightmare.
xD;

Izumi 04-10-2010 12:40 AM

Yah. I don't think he means to be. I think he severely lacks the attention because so much focus has to be put on the two year old. The 6 year old has her dad who spoils the girl rotten. The two little boys (2 and 4) don't know who their father is and while mommy is so busy on the 2 year old he's kinda stuck in the middle, desperate for attention. Also, my friend will let you know that the 2 year old is her golden child.

The 4 year old has had urinary tract problems though and I know she has to be very diligent in watching his diet, otherwise he has painful urination with blood in it. :(

Winter Wind 04-10-2010 12:41 AM

D:

...I'm neverr having kids, they sound like a lot of work.

Izumi 04-10-2010 12:44 AM

Yah they are, but there's things that are so precious about them. I'd just highly recommend you get yourself in a very solid relationship and get some money saved up. Those are my two pointers. Kids take a lot of energy and money.

Watching the two year old mimic me was incredibly cute though. He saw me wash my hands after changing him so ran in and washed his hands at the sink. He'd also look at me directly for my reaction...especially when he would sneak a handful of sissy's popcorn. I didn't say anything when he did though as she had way too much food to eat anyways. She asked me to make a sandwich and then when she saw I made popcorn she put it down to eat that. Her dad came to visit before work so she quickly forgot about most of the popcorn anyways. :XP

Winter Wind 04-10-2010 12:54 AM

I can tell.
I'm just scared I won't have enough time to divide between my personal interest and kids. D:
Awwww...they sound cute, at least. :3

Izumi 04-10-2010 12:58 AM

Yah that's the thing...when you're a parent, you really have to learn to be selfless...putting the needs of your child before your own. I try to with my step kids, but I still find myself torn between trying to better the life between my husband and I...since that's the life I live most often is one without kids. I do miss them when they're gone though. The house is so much quieter.

Winter Wind 04-10-2010 01:01 AM

xD

I don't think I'd be a very good parent...I'm not selfless enough.
._."
At least, not yet.

Izumi 04-10-2010 01:04 AM

I think no one is at first...until they have had experience with children. They really are a whole different game.

Winter Wind 04-10-2010 01:05 AM

I hope I can be a good mother though. :3

Just need to get everything I want to do in life out of the way first. xD

Izumi 04-10-2010 01:07 AM

Yah definitely do that. Having kids too young I've heard is not fun. :(

Winter Wind 04-10-2010 01:10 AM

Yea.
I don't want to have kids really late though, cause then I'd be all old and stiff and I wouldn't be able to do things with them.
Mebbe late 20's to early 30's. :3

Izumi 04-10-2010 01:14 AM

About my age then...O_o

I'm still wondering if I'm old enough for kids. I love em though. I can't wait to work with them.

Winter Wind 04-10-2010 01:16 AM

I dunno if I'd like kids...I'd be like "GAHH FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS SHINY SHUT UP AND STOP CRYING"
T_T"

Izumi 04-10-2010 01:21 AM

You wouldn't like newborns much. :XP

Half the fun is trying to decode what their crying means. I tried holding my friends 3 month old and he would cry until I changed the angle he was able to see. He got bored of whatever he looked at and wanted me to hold him up so he could look around. So cute watching him try to keep his head up, and his eyes all cross eyed. :XP

Winter Wind 04-10-2010 01:34 AM

Probably not.
x_x

...I'd wear earplugs or something.
@[email protected]
Babies cry for EVERYTHING.
xD

According to my mom, I was the laziest baby ever, so lazy I didn't even bother crying.
if I was hungry, I'd moan for about 5 seconds or yell or something, then just...lay there. xD

steelmagghia 04-10-2010 01:59 AM

Holy cow! Chi and Kin must be running a crazy day today. They still haven't announced it?
