It's been odd here. Snow and hail but none of it stayed. O.o; Lots of wind, too. Tomorrow is set to be 60s and sunny.

Nice. Today was pretty yucky and overcast.
I've got a few English projects to wrap up this weekend but in all honesty I'm not really feeling it right now. :o

My Senior Seminar work is all done, and there's no real homework for Latin. Not really. Dx

2 more sets should do it, if you have them? (If so could you send them to "Chi's Mule"?)

Bleh I wish I could say the same, Chi. I'm finished on Psych work, my emergency health course, and pretty much done with math once I finish these last two sections up. I have tests to take in Psych and Math but I'm not worried.
English I have to finish revisions on Essay 4 and 5 and do my EC if I can get the other two done. :(

My friend and I worked our butts off to get everything done in early. We offered to go first for presenting, too. I'm just glad it's over. :3 Graduation is in 2 weeks.
I got an award yesterday too, and received a book from my program faculty members. It was really sweet of them.

Sweet! I'm sorry if I forgot, but what degree are you getting right now?
I'm sure you told me awhile back but my brain is kinda mushy right now. I know you said you wanted to go on to postgraduate studies, right?

I'll graduate with a degree in the Behavioral Science and Community Studies program at my university. My concentration has been Applied Psychology. Basically this would allow me to be a Behavioral Health Professional (for example, working with children or adults with developmental disabilities), but I can do other things, too. I also have something called "MHRT Certification" for having taken additional classes. Out of the three levels I only completed the first two because with graduate studies, I'll be taking all those classes again and have all the qualifications upon completing my Master's.
The MHRT stuff is geared toward mental health rehabilitation--think crisis, substance abuse and things like that.
I'm thinking of applying for a summer position as a crisis worker. I'm going to update my resume today and fill out the application. It's $13/hour. I don't know if work at the company is going to pan out long-term over the summer and I'd like some spare cash.
My graduate studies will begin in June. I'm not going to go beyond getting a Master's. When I get through that, the ultimate goal would to be a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. It'll open up a lot more opportunities to me.

Holy shit you're way ahead of me. I'm just trying to get my associates. *sighs*
It's times like this I'm kicking myself for dropping out. I could be busy working the field right now otherwise. :/

I find myself wishing I had gone to college at 18 rather than waiting until I was 21 (turning 22 before my first semester even ended). I'd be done by now and working in the field, too.
But, just because we waited, it doesn't mean we won't get there. I think I've done better growing as an individual throughout this because I entered being a little older.

Yah I feel that way too. A LOT of freshmen go into college with the wrong attitude, and they kind of rub me when I see one of these individuals in class. It's like pull your head out of your ass and grow up. :XP

Plans for today is just to take my time doing laundry and dishes. Also a friend in Math class is coming over to work on homework. I'm hoping to get all of that squared away. Maybe after she leaves I'll get working on my papers in English. I have to do some cards up for a presentation and I need to do some revision to the actual essay. I also need to do revision on my other essay. Both of those HAVE to be turned in before Thursday, and I *ideally* want to get it done and over with by Tuesday as she's handing our finals out that have to be typed and handed in on Thursday. I really don't want to wait last minute. :/

Yeah. Definitely better to get it done now. D:
Revisions don't usually take me too long to do unless I get a "new idea please!" response. :XD

Well today, right now, I'm concentrating on housework and waiting for my friend to come over. Once that's all taken care of I will be looking and revising. Not looking forward to it. I hate writing papers. :(

Once you do more, it'll get easier. I still hate writing them as well, but I've gotten used to it. In this field it gets pretty bad. :\
I'm sure you'll hear me wailing when grad school starts.

Well I have another English class to sit through, and I'm sure a few paper assignments in other classes. (Oh boy! *fake enthusiasm*)
I feel bad cause my friend came over and didn't get much done in the way of homework. I can do the problem out on the paper for her step by step but I really struggle trying to find better ways to explain it. I definitely couldn't teach higher math. It's hard trying to make it understandable by people who don't do well with math to begin with. :<
We had an awesome time hanging out, swapping stories though. She's awesome to hang out with. I just don't get much done though!! (I'm horrible at procrastinating.)
