Whew it's getting humid this afternoon. Laundry is pretty much done and packing is done. Woot! Just need to cook dinner here shortly.

on the other hand I do have 3 days off every week... but I've been going to school on top of it... so... T_T I've kinda been running myself ragged...

Izumi, I went to make dinner. I was craving greens something awful. We're low on groceries, so I just made some mashed potatoes and then took some ground beef, made a gravy, added spinach... had that over potatoes. Brussels sprouts on the side.

We've been having a lot of bad foods lately, and I think my body is finally turning back around to say, "Yo, where's the veg?!" We've had salad this week and whatnot, but in comparison to what we had been eating we've had way too much homemade pizza and chicken tenders. :XD

I need to force myself to go clean the bedroom. Cole put the bedding in to wash and dry, and I want to get everything in there done but the vacuuming. We're just going to do the sweeping, mopping and vacuuming tomorrow, but none of the dusting has been done yet. :(

No, it's in plastic! and it would cost too much right now to get a new pair!! so crazy glue and duck tape time!!!

Mmm my body has been saying "Yo where's the veg?!" for awhile. :XD Well more like fruit. I love my veggies, but I'm a really picky fruit eater. I usually stick to apples, oranges, grapes...'safe' foods. Oh but I LOVE Ugli Fruit. They are SO yummy...but expensive. T_T

I put dinner on now. Waiting for Aaron to get home. He'll be surprised to know that the ex and I had a very friendly conversation for a half hour about the kids. I called just to say that my mom had said she will be making something and not to feed them a big dinner before they go. I also reassured her the most riskiest thing is going swimming in the lake if the weather permits. I also talked to her about Tristan's surgery which will be in the coming month or two. Apparently he'll be off school while that heals. He has to have more webbing removed from his hand. *sighs* Poor kid.

I got the bedroom cleaned, save for a tote full of Cole's stuff. I figure he can put that in the closet. I scrubbed the hell out of the wall with a Mr. Clean magic eraser thing, but I don't notice a bit of difference. :cry:

I'll dust and Febreze the baby's room next, and if I still have steam, I'll do the same for the guestroom. These two rooms don't really need "cleaning", thank goodness. Just dusting and vacuuming.

Right now I just need a break. x_X

I dislike this talk of cleaning! My younger sister got moved into my room since I've technically moved out and everything now, so when I get back I'll be in a much smaller room with much more accumulated junk and clothes from uni. x.x Ack!

Chi: Honestly, there has been a lot going on in my life in the past year that has just really helped me grow up. I just passed my first year at uni with a 2.1 (our grade system goes first - as best - 2.1, 2.2, 3rd, pass, fail), I've travelled to America by myself twice in the last 7 months, and I'm able to take charge of my life independently and manage my food and finances. I just feel really good when I reflect on the past year. I've done so much. :)

So yeah. A lot of positivity coming from me!

The whole moving to America thing seems like a sure thing to me at some point in my life. The current plan is to finish up uni in England (2 more years) and either study for my Masters here or get a job, or do research, or something. I'm not entirely sure yet. :P

You're in Maine, right? I actually drove through there twice on my way to Canada with my guy. I'll be sure to keep in touch with you, definitely. You've been there for me through so much! :hug:

Ah so you'd be coming on a different visa. I thought maybe a spousal visa or something with your 'more than a friend'. Even so that forum can help with any of the different types of visas. When you start looking into it and filing paperwork I'd suggest to sign up and join in with them. I know going through the whole process was easier when I had a group of friends who were in a similar boat. :)

Ohh life drama? It's interesting to hear others' stories. :) (Sucks you gotta go through it, but it's nice to hear stories that work out for the best. :3)

The baby's room and the guestroom are both ready to be deodorized and vacuumed. I did up everything else. Cole mended my bellyband (much needed) and got the living room cleaned and straightened.

If I can get off my ass and do my bathroom tonight, and clean my tiny corner of the living room, all we have to do tomorrow is the sweeping, mopping and vacuuming. My back has about had it though. I'm tuckered out.

Chi: Hmm, I will have to ask him to find out because I just followed his instructions! :P I think I did fairly well to say it's my second time driving over here and he did fall asleep! xD

Thank you, Chi. :) I mean, there is still some drama at home and everything, but I'm trying to move on from it. My guy's been helping me through stuff, too, and that's been really helpful.

I'm feeling quite accomplished. It took way longer than it should have (cleaning in general) but I did it. My back is trashed, unfortunately, so who knows what I can do tomorrow regarding the sweeping and whatnot, but such is life. I did a lot today at any rate.

Sadness. I'm about an hour overdue for sleep. I've been tired but I've been icing my back. >.>; I'm pretty well exhausted. *fail*

Yah I should be sleeping too. I wish I could sink my sleep cycle to Aaron's.

I may be the only one not tired here.. but it's boiling hot to the point I feel like I should be sleeping!
