How's it going?

I'm slowly becoming active on Mene again!

Oh, it's going. We've been hashing over the budget to see what we can swing/not swing this Fall.

I had some random contractions and oddities during class, but they've tapered off. I'm kinda sad as I was getting excited. ;-;

Budgeting is never fun, but needed.. I need to learn how to budget myself.. xP

Ah, must have been a downer as they stopped then. Though I suppose it would be a sign to be ready for it soon. My co-worker I'd told you about had her kid, but it amazed me that she'd come to work while in labour technically.. just the contractions part of it.. would have so been a good day to phone in.. and yet she was at work.. working.

I've been good, had been a lousy day but everyone gets those once in a while.

Yeah. They do keep popping back up (just had one), so it makes me curious. I hear the early stages can last 5-12 hours or more. I'd also go to work. :XD

Mmm, I hear you on the lousy day. Class was a HUGE pick-me-up today. Cole and I have been fine but a lot of family issues (my side) have been getting me down lately.

That is curious, I'd wonder about it for sure. Lol I suppose so, just was sorry to watch her have to guide customers around the store.. in search of their books. xD

Family issues are always a downer, I hope things get better. I've been distancing myself from some relatives lately myself, just because I hate their negativity towards me. I've been feeling better since anyhow.

Chimotsu can't be born yet. You don't have what I have for her. She has to wait for when I can afford to mail the box, lol.

It sounds like your finances are about as good as ours right now. I hope things get better. :(

WHATCHA GET?! Surely you can tell me. The baby will still be surprised. :XD And with her coming out or staying in, I don't think she can make up her mind. Right now she's just wriggling back and forth.

My finances have been this way for months. My problem is that I have other people spending my money for me because they themselves have financial issues of their own. Being the good child I am I gave up imy trip to Dragon Con with CK and a few other thousands of dollars to cover the costs but have also put myself behind quite a bit.

Good thing there's no debtors prison.

And NOOOOOOOOOO I will not tell you what's in the box. You have to be as surprised as she is.

Ours came from mass vehicle repairs over the summer. I can't say I'd have my sanity if we had to give money out ... well, you know.

That really blows about Dragon Con. :( Really really blows.

The only thing we haven't gotten is nursery decor. I figure if we have the money later, we can always add something. We're just a bit limited what with renting and all. I don't think the rugrat will much care really.

She probably won't notice right away lol, she'll be held by you or sleeping or staring at ceiling sort of thing xD

My finances have always been poor.. due to part time job only.. Doesn't help with my 'additions' to the family only wanting to grab another very soon.. o.O Well another head anyhow..

The only problem about pulling away from one person is that, she went in for surgery recently, and I'm just wondering if everything turned out right.. Doesn't seem right to phone my dad to figure out when he's two provinces away and I live in the same city.. xP

I'm hoping the car stays stable for another year or two before we have to do anything (other than oil changes and whatnot). I don't think we can take another hit. We've had to take out far too many loans, but I may be able to keep working after the baby's here to help out bits here and there. I'll know in about a month I reckon. xD

I'm not sure what I'd do regarding the family member. If I wanted to be in touch with them, I'd get in touch with them, but otherwise I tend to be callous enough that I'd not care. If I cut ties I tend to really cut them, which is kinda sucky.

Yeah, cars just don't seem to know that it's not good for everything to break down at once. Hopefully it's done with breaking down and let you guys actually manage to put your money elsewhere. :)

Don't overwork yourself though, between the baby and work.. may have ill effects..

Hm, yeah true. I actually don't mind not knowing.. it's my mom, she feels I shouldn't and she's always trying to get me to get into contact again when I really don't care to.

I'm not excited about it (working) but it will be part-time regardless, and I won't be doing it unless I have her with me. Somethings aren't worth sacrificing, and this is one of them. :)

If you don't care to, definitely don't. Sometimes I feel like family has too much emphasis. It's like people are allowed to treat other people like shit and it's okay just because it's "family". I think there's a reason some of us go through life finding completely unrelated people being closer than family in the long run, if that makes any sense.

Definitely agree with you on that.. you've spent nearly nine months carrying her.. Can't sacrifice your time working instead of being with her - in some sense anyhow. :)

It does make sense, being who I am though I have few I'm really close with - family or otherwise. I have friends of course.. online, but yeah.. It's just someone I'd rather not deal with. Hehe.

Most of my close friends are online, too, though I do have a couple others. Oddly one of the people I went to college with has turned out to be someone really great to talk with. She's been really sick the past year though, which has been quite rough. We try and meet up for lunch sometimes, as she had to drop out.

I've only just made a new friend recently, not quite as going out to lunch or anything.. but we talk online a lot. It's strange though.. she's younger than me - just turned 18 but I feel as if I were the younger one.. I'm like that with a lot though.. I find I have a clingy personality in life.. though I'm not certain why..

I'm sorry to hear about your friend, and hope that she gets better! It's always nice to have someone there to listen without having to hop onto the computer.

Did you meet her at work, or somewhere else in the area? The only place I really seem to socialize is school. x_X;

I hope she does, too. Her husband is also in poor health. They're troopers though!

I actually met her at the doll meets. If anything, getting dolls have been good for me.. it's gotten me a bit more social than I am usually. Especially if I have a doll on me at the time - not even at meets.. I dunno.. I barely notice people staring at me when I carry one about with me.. but it acts as a conversation starter and as a 'barrier' in my mind I guess.

I can guarantee that she won't care if her room is pink or bright yellow. They're just lumps for the first few months who snack on their fist.

That's true. I don't collect (yet) but I hear that the doll collecting community is huge. I do collect animation cels, and that's pretty social as well. :)

That's pretty much where my mind frame has been. I don't think she'll much care. She'll be all about boobs and snuggles for a while!

My local Community is rather small, but everyone is great with helping out and answering questions. :) So it's always a great way to make friends.. even if I may only see them once a month. xP

I know I won't collect until I graduate and we pay off a lot of loans. My priority for "fun stuff" belongs to my cel collection for the time being. There are a few beauties I used to own that I'd like to someday get back, but I need huge cash for that. :XD

I'm glad the graduate program is only 3 years, and the final year of it will be spent either preparing for interning or interning. To my knowledge the internship period will be paid. Whee!

Yeah.. I'm supposed to be on hold on buying any new ones any time soon.. my Third was only thanks to an extra payday in July. I only just want to buy a head that's no longer being sold separately by the company any longer though. But it's also fairly expensive.. so hoping the person will allow layaway option - it is second hand.

Paid internship is definitely a good thing, nothing more horrible than working and not getting paid for it lol!
