Oh that stinks. :< I'm sorry hun. I don't understand why guys don't get it. If I wasn't married (and if you swung that way) I'd want to date you. Gah.

I tried setting up a RL friend though, and I found it really hard. Of course my social circle is kinda small which makes things hard.

steelmagghia 11-16-2010 04:24 AM

Well, thank you hon. I appreciate that. Meh, this particular guy was just too wrapped up in his own crap to think about anything besides his own needs. His loss.

I would love it if "Charles" would get over his weirdness. But that isn't happening. So I'm back to being fine with singleness.

Izumi 11-16-2010 04:28 AM

Maybe Charles will in time...I wouldn't wait for him though.

And yah if he's too self absorbed that's not cool either.

I think I just got insanely lucky...I was talking to him about what if I lost him suddenly and how I don't think I'd manage moving on yadda yadda ya. And he turns to me and goes "How long did it take you to find me? 6 months? That's not too bad!" And I'm like yah but that was a total fluke. I don't know if I'd get lucky like that again.

Fulkth 11-16-2010 04:31 AM

If it wasn't for my hubby making the first move...I think I'd still be single cuz I'm kind of shy. And paranoid.

steelmagghia 11-16-2010 04:33 AM

Nah, I'm not waiting for him.

Aw, you guys are so sweet. That's part of my problem though. I don't want a husband. I want a "live close by, visit often" kind of dude. I've found it much harder to find those kind of guys.

Izumi 11-16-2010 04:34 AM

I think a lot of it is just luck...or maybe me not being very picky. (I know that was DEFINITELY the case with my ex-husband...)

Other than the kids thing, I'm happy, though. Even then I love my step kids and still hoping they'll be in my life well after they move out on their own. :3

And I think a lot of that wanting kids is afraid of getting old too, or loosing Aaron. Sounds stupid, but you always hear these stories of how people pulled through because they had to for their childrens' sake.

----------

LOL. You like your space, then, Steel? I'd have to move in and live with you, so I guess we wouldn't be very compatible...:XP

steelmagghia 11-16-2010 04:40 AM

Haha. Not unless you wanted to be my housewife.

But see, I'd want someone that likes dogs, but doesn't have any of their own. But I get grumpy, and I want to be able to watch whatever TV I want, have silence when I want it. I'm just a cranky old lady at home.

Izumi 11-16-2010 04:42 AM

LOL. Sorry but I come with a dog, cat, and well my husband would have to be part of the package too...but we could share. :XP

I like my silence, too, and I'm not really much of a social butterfly but I am loud, opinionated and want to have a good time. I don't like being totally alone though. I hate it, actually. I prefer to have one or two really close people to me, rather than a whole group of people.

steelmagghia 11-16-2010 04:47 AM

See, I like my socializing, social, with groups of about 5 or 6 and my alone time alone.
Oh, and I'm allergic to cats, so all cats have to be outdoor cats. Also a problem.

Izumi 11-16-2010 04:50 AM

D: NOOOOO! Mog is not an outdoor kitty. *has to keep on telling her mom that, as she would like to take her up with her to her parents house but mom uses same 'I'm allergic' excuse although she lets HER favorite kitty in*

----------

Seriously. He freaks out majorly when taken outdoors.

steelmagghia 11-16-2010 04:53 AM

Yeah, an indoors is really healthier for cats. But I just can't handle it. Chinc gets to come in very occasionally, but it always makes me miserable when he does and we have to shut all of the doors to the bedrooms.

Izumi 11-16-2010 04:58 AM

Aieee...I did it again. I lost what I was typing. T_T

Anyways pet dander doesn't set me off...it's the transitions to Spring and Fall.

Ewww Senator McCains wife looks WAY too young for him. Must be the money.

steelmagghia 11-16-2010 05:01 AM

Haha. She *is* way younger than him. And she has all the money, too.
There is clearly something strange going on there.

I have a lot more allergies than I like to admit.

Izumi 11-16-2010 05:03 AM

I think I have some unknown food allergies, and/or some stress related IBS issues. I haven't had any formal testing and I'm still trying to work out what sets me off.

Awww puppy is at the foot of the bed curled up and snout down on the bed with her eyes looking all pouty and cute. She sooo knows how to steal my heart. Love the little bugger. She is a real card, I tell yah.

steelmagghia 11-16-2010 05:12 AM

Aww, that is too adorable.
Alright kiddo. It's time for me to hit the sack. Ethics class at 9:30 tomorrow morning.

Izumi 11-16-2010 05:12 AM

Okie dokie. It's nice talking to you, Steel. :) It's about my bedtime too.

I hope to see you soon. *big hugs*

steelmagghia 11-16-2010 05:19 AM

Night kiddo. I'll probably be on tomorrow, though not until *after* my ridiculous five to eight in the evening class. *dies*
I hate Tuesdays.

Phobos and Deimos 11-16-2010 05:28 AM

Phobos: Hello Chi: .

Deimos: -caw!- -flaps wings-

Phobos: I'm getting to it. Just because I have a psychic connection with you and Crow-sama doesn't that I have one with everyone, geez.

Anyways, we were wondering if you had a Winter's Flight for sale? It seems to be the closest Menewshan item to the decorations that adorn our backs. You said to ask, so we are. I believe Crow-sama's fund for this is 4,000 :gold: pure.

Chi 11-16-2010 02:52 PM

@Fulkth
I'm not willing to part with my Novembers at this time. I would want more than 1k for it, and I think you can find another seller to give you one for 1k. Just want to put that out there.

@Phobos and Deimos
I have one for sale, but I'd prefer the high end of the price guide (5k). If you want it, say the word. :3

Ace Strife 11-16-2010 02:52 PM

damn way too much

Chi 11-16-2010 03:08 PM

I didn't catch your edit. What is way too much? O_o

Saisei 11-16-2010 04:11 PM

Okay:

I go to the library to do my homework. It's nice, it's quiet, it's a good place to do homework. It's a library for christ's sake.

The two middle-aged chatty Kathys over sitting at the computers are jabbering to each other so LOUDLY that I can hear them over my headphones...

Chi 11-16-2010 04:37 PM

Tell them to knock it off. That's just plain rude.

steelmagghia 11-16-2010 06:09 PM

If you tell the library staff, Kin, they should take care of it for you.
Hey guys. I've got fifty minutes before the next class, so I thought I'd say hello. :)

Chi 11-16-2010 06:42 PM

Hiii. I'm giving the baby her main lunch. I'm hoping she'll go in her swing and take nap or something. We've done absolutely nothing today. e.e; These are my usual Tuesdays 'till Kin gets home, though.
