It took me looking at a few of those posts to realize that @D was addressing D and not a messed up smiley.
Of course, I should preface this by adding that I also have my Menewsha time set 12 hours wrong, and was thoroughly confused by the fact that the date/time was telling me that it's monday. I was like, "It's not monday... is it? I thought it was sunday. It can't be monday. Am I wrong?"

Wow, that would mess a person up. xD
I just looked over my paper assignment. In good news, it's a mere 5 pages (double-spaced!). In bad news, it's not one I can BS my way through like I do a lot of my others.
I have to actually implement documented theories and whatnot. XD At least I'm confident I can get it mostly done by the time Cole's started and finished cleaning. Blee.
What are your plans for the day? After I'm done Cole's buying me a game on the Wii's Virtual Console for my birthday present (I told him not to give it to me before I was done with the paper).

XD Smart plan.
Mainly I want to get through some Katie pictures. I'm thinking 10 would be enough.
These are for sample illustrations for our book, so Katie getting into various bad situations. Nothing like the cover image though. I'm thinking that these, I'm just going to ink and scan. No color, and no outlining on the computer.
Can you think of any good situations for Katie? It's an advice book for new apartment. The ones I thought of were, Katie trying to put together her Ikea bought furniture, Katie trying to sleep with noise coming from her ceiling (upstairs neighbors), and Katie trying to call her landlord while her sink is leaking.

Katie with her heat not working.
Katie with her stove setting something on fire.
Katie with the lights blowing out.
Katie with mice infiltrating the apartment from the holes in the walls.
Katie having been burglarized.
---
I say all these bad things because of how crappy her apartment is, and how I reckon the AREA she's living in is no better. >>;;

XD
They sound good. I just have to figure out what I can accurately portray.
The heat not working is a harder one. I guess Katie shivering while looking at a thermostat.
<<,, I really like Katie's stove setting on fire. XD
What I need (and unfortunately don't have) is a copy of the Table of Contents. Then I could look through and see what all we planned to talk about in the book and what images I can create that will go well with that.

I already gave you my reasoning as to why I wanted the full 600. I lowered it to 575g for you, and that's the lowest I'll go. Sorry. ^-^;
@Cami
I suppose her shivering while blue in the face, icicles hanging off her hair and face would work. XD

Cami, you're very random. xD
Taquitos are basically corn tortillas rolled up with meat/cheese/other stuff in the middle. They look like sticks. I haven't had them in forever, though.
We ordered Perogies from Schwan's. I'm debating on making a meal with those once you're here. That with marinara sauce or something. xD

The odd thing is that I actually have frozen bean and cheese taquitos. XD I just went and checked.

Go ahead and pop them in the oven, then. Should be tasty.
Perogies (I know I'm spelling it wrong) are basically potato and cheese filled pasta pockets you boil and then lightly fry. They're pretty tasty, commonly considered a Polish food.

I'm having a hard time finding six sources on my topic. I'm writing about the social problems revolving around the topic of grandparents raising their grandchildren. You can imagine what inspired the topic for me. :roll:
I've heard more good about it than bad, which surprises me. I suppose I'll have to focus more on the problems I know have been documented, such as financial strain (senior citizens barely make ends meet by themselves, let alone taking on babies/small children) and increasing health problems due to the stress and extra responsibility.
Too bad I can't just write the five pages on how it can potentially ruin a family. I could puke out twenty pages on that. >/

And they don't accept primary resources? How sad. If this were a historical paper, you could totally use your diary. XD
I am surprised to hear that they have more good than bad on the subject. I wouldn't expect that.
