Ohh Chi that is really exciting news! I'm so happy to hear he's starting to make improvements, and he sounds focused!

I had to read the whole duck on the break sentence a couple of times as it made me go "eh?!". I'll blame it being the morning and me being tired. I haven't gotten much sleep. Today is my one full day off this week, so I'm going to spend it relaxing. I might get a couple things done. Nothing major and no rush. Main thing is to do some checkbook balancing and get some bills paid off as it's payday and we need desperately to go grocery shopping tonight.

I'm feeling better right now but I think a lot of it has to do with the fact I got paid today and I've got a day off work.

I'm still thinking of you guys and hoping that your dad hangs in there. I'm here for you. *big hugs* :hug:

We're staying up one more night then I think we're going home-home. I expect Dad will get through his rehab as quickly as they'll let him.

Thanks Chi! :) I'm trying to find ways to wear the shirt. I'm going to start doing some common collecting I think...I want to start collecting all the commons with CI connections. (IE Chaos/Order, Phoenix/Atlantis, Bee/Panda) Hopefully then I'll have a nice combination of items to start playing with some of my rarer items. :)

My father seems to get overly excited when he sees Terra. It's scared the piss out of her twice. >>;; Probably a good thing we're going home tomorrow.

His word misplacement is better, but still really messed up. It's improved a bunch since the day before yesterday. I have faith. If the weather is good we might come up sometime next week. He LOVES having company now that he's awake/able to talk. If we didn't have Terra I'd just stay up and send Cole home for a break. :XD

I seem to be able to "get" what he tries to say more than most. He wanted saltine crackers and he kept saying pots of ... I don't know what. Makes about as much sense as hearing someone say, "You know, those..things. The sticks in the pots that go like this!"

He told me today why he kept getting out of bed in ICU. (That was awful.. kept ripping out his IVs and stuff.) He said that he knows if you don't use it, you lose it. He was scared to death he'd die if he didn't fight.

Wow, that is horrible. Poor guy, having IVs put in over and over suck. Well, having them miss alot sucks.

At least he seems to be doing alot better!

Indeed. He should be home by the end of the month and I don't need to wonder if he'll take a turn for the worse. I can actually relax now. >_>

Tomorrow we'll leave the hotel/hospital area before noon (with any luck), get groceries, and then head home.
