Just got home from my parents tonight and tomorrow I'm going to try and go back to work. It's been a tough week, honestly, but I'm glad to be home and looking forward to redefining my new definition of normality. Aaron is starting nights Monday, and I haven't had a chance to talk to the manager and see about getting my shift adjusted accordingly.

I'm glad things are moving in a positive direction for you though, Chi. :)

No, readings as in assignments consisting of reading from a book for homework.

I'm sick right now. Trying to find anything I can take that won't hurt my milk supply or affect the baby. Bleh.

Ahhhh... sorry... LOL. Around here we just call it "reading the textbook" I don't think I've ever heard anyone short hand it like that before.

I don't know...I emailed my boss like the day before my brother died regarding the change of hours and she never got back to me...Then all this happened. I spoke to the accounts manager though and she was like don't worry about it we can get that done. I haven't spoken to her since the first time when she reassured me things would be taken care of.

I was suppose to go back to work today but I woke up feeling so tired both emotionally and physically...feeling really depressed too. I held a lot of emotion in to try and help family and friends grieve and never took much time to grieve for myself. If I don't feel better in a couple of days, a friend was gracious enough to supply me with a colleague and personal friend's number who is a grief counselor and said he was more than happy to try and help. I will try to give him a call if need be and not sit and fester on this.

Aaron is working tomorrow 3pm-3am and then the rest of the week is 5pm-5am...We haven't had a chance to adjust our sleeping schedule.

I'm glad you'll have an outlet, should the need arise. Definitely go if you find yourself needing it. You had a lot to process, to say the least.

Oh man, that's gonna be hell. I hope the readjustment goes smoothly.

Oh just found out Aaron is laid off in a week's time for two weeks.

hey, havent stopped by here in a while. how is everyone?

I'm quite sick. Went into a head cold. Ugh. As I'm breastfeeding, I can't take regular OTC stuff. My friend gave me an herbal remedy and it's worked shockingly quickly. I'm much better compared to yesterday. Can't wait for it to pass. :gonk:

Hanging in there, Chi. Trying to keep myself awake until 3am again this morning, then going to pass out. If I'm able to work here this week I won't be able to do it shortly as he wont be getting home till 5am.

Hopefully by the weekend your body will be more adjusted. ;(

Yah I'm feeling better tonight than I did yesterday, so it's an improvement. What's going to suck is tomorrow he's doing the 5pm-5am thing and I will have to start work at noon (if they've gotten me working) so we'll need to do a backup plan for the time being...

ugh i was sick last night too. it sucked

I'm still sick, though I think I'm getting better. I'm hoping by Thursday I'll be somewhat normal. The tea concoction seems to help either way.

I'll be back on more once I'm not so crotchety miserable. Though, I just looked at my syllabus and I have so much crap to do. :( I have break next week, but we'll be preparing for a move. Cole has his break a week after that, so maybe I can get caught up then.

Mmmph I'm just trying to get through tonight. I'm not taking to this whole new hours thing too well. It feels weird to have the house all to myself. I got my hours moved starting tomorrow though and for the majority of the time Aaron is gone I'll be working. I think that will help tremendously.

What is this herbal remedy? And is it safe to take when you're expecting? I just found out I was. XD

Oh yeah. It's definitely safe while expecting. Congrats!! I took it due to my breastfeeding. Most OTC stuff isn't safe for baby, so...
