Thanks again!

Yep my parents have a small hobby farm. If they didn't have so many darn sheep and goats I think they'd be doing pretty well about cutting costs. They sent us home with 4 dozen eggs last time though as they couldn't keep up with all the eggs they've been laying. :XD Not complaining as farm fresh eggs are yummy.

I'm slightly more awake after coffee, but I made a huge breakfast so I'm all :drool: again. Pancakes, eggs, sausage and fresh berries.

Omg that sound so good. Could do with bacon and sausages and pancakes right now... BUT must stay good to my diet. :drool:

We had sushi last night, too. @[email protected] Cami: randomly came to Maine so we came up to meet her a bit from where she's visiting with her parents. We ate sushi after she left. Now we need to run errands and get back home for homework. Not so fun!

Ohhh that's cool she stopped by to visit!

This weekend is kinda all over the place. Not doing my normal hours this week as apparently they're not busy enough so I picked up some hours here and there that other people had dropped. I'm basically working my normal hours, but without working the same days. It's going to be fun.

I'm looking forward to Thursday though as I'm going to a friend's Miche party. Hoping it will be a good time to meet some other women in my area. Really would like to make more friends.

I'm wondering if/when I'll get the desire to be more social. I'm thinking this week I'll get a playdate together for Terra. :3

I dunno, Chi. In Child Psych there is an age range where they will typically start engaging with other children and I don't know if she's quite hit that stage yet. I'd look it up for you if I kept my book. :P It wouldn't hurt to try, but at the same time don't get too bummed if she seems too in her own little world.

Y'know that class was actually a lot of fun and very interesting one to take. I kinda miss school.

I think it's a good idea to engage your children with other children at early stages. Teaches them the social skills they need later in life. Trust me, very good idea in my opinion. Especially since i was a nanny for 3 years lol.

Oh yah definitely, just I don't think they really start socializing till closer to 2 years old...So it might be a little early for her still yet.

You'll be surprised. They're very curious at that age lol.

Yah tell me about it! My friend brought her little boy over who is about 18 or so months old and he is very much so. It's really mind boggling though watching him imitate other people.

Lol yeh they're very impressionable. And man do they wanna touch everything in sight xD.

Terra must be an early bloomer then. :lol: Whenever she's around a particular girl (my friend's) she goes nuts. Happy. Screaming (happily) to play.

She did well with my 2 year old cousin, too. :3

@Chi - hopefully you're taking plenty of photos and keeping a bunch of embarrassing stories for her when she gets older. ;) Gotta love that stuff. I've got plenty of photos of me with food smeared all over my face. I think my grandma had a photo of my brother outside naked getting a bath...you know those fun ones. ;)

We've been lax on photos in the past two weeks, and we need to get back to it. Overall we have a huge collection of her first year, thankfully. :yes:

That's cool. :) Got to keep a good photo book going so you can share with her when she gets older. :)

We've taken videos, too. It's something I wish I had done more with my nephew when he was a baby. Guess all the prior experience has benefited me in some ways. :p
