Hehe thanks hummy! :) It's nice too as they run eachother ragged until they sleep so I don't have to worry about one of them getting bored and chewing stuff up.

Yah I'm absolutely stoked and have fallen in love with him. Aaron says he seems to be my dog as he cuddles with me at night and Will sit in my lap on the couch. He's a real sweetie. :)

Chi are you selling a Traitors of Peeblo or a Alter Ego, by any chance?

@monstahh`
Traitors is the special item, right? If so, I don't. I only have my one.
I do have an Alter Ego though, for 3300. If you want it please send a trade to "Chi's Mule".

@hummy
Truthfully? Crappy. I'm really upset with my schooling, and I've come to the realization I'm going to have to put some of my true dreams on hold and just acclimate to my particular degree before eventually pursuing another master's degree. I am so done with schooling. Done.

I also want another child, but in order to do that, I'll have to put work on hold even longer, and I don't want that. I want several things at once, and it's not feasible. I wish I were rich, then the money wouldn't matter, and I could simply choose between second child and working my dream job.

Just frustrated. I'll get over it.

I hear yah, Chi. I was going through an episode of feeling like I was torn between many things. I'm trying my hardest to enjoy things the way they are, though, as things could really be a lot worse. I'm fairly happy. I wish I could get more hours for work, and that I could get back into school to work towards something, too..but once again it's a money issue and also worried about spreading myself too thin.

That and I've found there's a happy balance to be had.

I believe in emotional fulfillment at any cost, and I probably won't feel better until I've gotten a way to get that sense of fulfillment. I'm good at figuring things out in a timely manner, so that's what I'll be doing over the next short span of time.

adapting is a hard thing when you have such a clear plan.
God may put a chink in the plan as well, another baby before school is finished.
it will all work out for the best for you because you do plan so very well.
i wish money was not a consideration but i am a realist and know it is.
taking a break from you schooling may be just what you need right now.
i hope your options work in your favor, school when you can and work when you can.
and second baby when it is right for all of you, including baby number one. <3.
vent if you need to because that is what we are here for.
sweet dreams Chi.

If I take a break, I won't finish. I'm in a pilot program that may not run again, and my only other option would be to commute 2 hours away (4 hours a day total, plus class time... not feasible right now).

So, school is the necessity. I think daycare in the Spring and working alongside schooling. Doesn't solve the school problem, but it is what it is.

would it be feisable to move closer to school *the two hour away one*, like halfway between your husband and your schools/work?
is there a train between where you are and school?
does that cut the drive time down any?
how much longer do you have to go to graduate?
you are going to become a nurse? correct?

Nope, it's completely not feasible to move 2 hours away when my husband's main work security will be right here in town. Mine, too, upon graduation.

There is no public transportation, period.

2013 for both of us.

I'm licensed clinical professional counselor with a rehabilitative background, and my husband is a nurse.

is there any way you could finish up this online?
maybe they would make a *Lord i am so tired i cannot think of the word* ah, exception for your situation?
i am so sorry you have this big problem with school being so far away.
my cousins wife had to do that kind of driving.
she is an x-ray technition and makes fairly good money but the school was way far away.
they hardly ever saw each other when she was in school.
but they did get together.....she got pregnant with twins ;p .

Nope, I can't finish it online. My university doesn't have a solely online program for these classes, nor would I want to take counseling courses online. I have no problem with certain classes/certain fields being solely online, but not counseling. I can probably get additional certification online from another university for other things I want, after graduating from this university.

I don't really have a situation that needs exception. I'm not ill, and taking care of my daughter isn't taxing. The issue I have with my schooling stem from not realizing beforehand that taking a rehabilitative counseling program with a licensed clinical professional counselor component didn't cover my bases. I thought, for example, I would be doing half rehab and half clinical mental health. I do probably eighty percent rehab and twenty percent mental health. The mental health is what I want to do, which requires more schooling. With the LCPC component I can work within a mental health setting, but I am limited to adults and adolescents without substance abuse issues.

I'll be able to do a lot, don't get me wrong. It just wasn't what I'd envisioned. Working as a rehab counselor is completely and utterly different than working as a mental health counselor. I don't WANT to work in a rehab setting. I will because I'll have to until the loans are paid back, and then I'll get my mental health components situated.

So it's not a case of me not having the time. It's a case of me being disappointed in the poor advising we all had going into this. $20k+ for something that I don't "want". I'm not pursuing moving or commuting, the latter of which will keep me away from my baby.

I'll get there. It will just take time. The second baby will either work out or it won't.

Ohshit, sorry about what's happening Chi!
Honestly, school counselors/ advisers kind of suck. I'm sorry to hear what happened.
But you're still adorable and smart and hard working.

I have to sign up for second semester classes soon. Honestly, I think my adviser might have put me in the wrong math this semester. It might be too easy for me. I do love the class, but maybe I could have done something harder and more appropriate. Augh. School.
