Hehe yes, you asked me about that a month or so ago as well. If you look at page 5 of my thread, that's where you started your offers on my fan. A few people actually were upset with me because I ended the auction before they had a chance to counter bid your last offer, but I felt your offer was already contributing to mass over-inflation, as your offer was already I think double what the fan was listed as valued at in the price guide or something like that. I had not expected to get so many offers and so quickly, nor did I ever expect the offers to get as high as they did. Honestly, I made out like a bandit on that fan, considering I only paid maybe around 250g for it when it was first released.

WOAH YER RIGHT.

I remember feeling kind of bad for offering so much.

Hehe well, apparently others were prepared to offer even more, so no point in feeling bad about it. It's going to kill me when I decide to start questing it back, lol. That's a good ways down the road, though, and will probably be one of the last items I quest for. I won't give up my personal items to get it back, which means I will have to obtain doubles of nearly all the CI's/EI's on the site if I want to have any hope of buying one. There are times I wish I had it as it would go well with an outfit, but I've never once regretted giving it up.
