We had to fix it up a bit before we moved stuff in. Now the bedrooms are done and soon the bathroom will be done.

After we move in we're going to finish up removing the popcorn ceilings and painting. Then finishing the kitchen floor. Hopefully after that we'll be done with house projects for a while. XD

Nope, a trailer in a trailer park community. xD I used to live in las vegas and there I lived in an apartment and when I moved to PA, we lived in an apartment for four years then moved into this trailer. My mom and dad are separted right now and my mom is the only one working so we can't even afford a house if we wanted one, but I told myself when I have the chance to go to college, I'm going for something hard and difficult where I will get a good pay to give my kids when I get older a house and stuff they want without worry about money. You know?

Oh! I didn't even think of that. I'm sure it's tough for your mom to be working so hard and not being able to give you guys a real house. At least it motivates you to do better with your career path though. :hug:

Yeah especially since my dad didn't work in the first place, but he did a lot of other things...well part of the reason my parents are separated is because my dad wouldn't get a job. He's injured so he can't work much, but my mom always would freak out because my dad builds things in his shed outside and stuff and that means he can at least work a part-time job, but my mom doesn't realize my dad does a lot of things my mom can't do...like take me to work when I need it, take me to my band practices that have weird in the middle of the day hours, take me to my doctor appointments and stuff, but yeah he could work a 2nd shift job though. xD I don't know, but yeah it's motivating me to have a better life with my family when I get older. My mom said I'm living the same life as she did when she was growing up...my grandpa got hurt and my grandma was the only one working, but they had a house...only difference.

Ya, that's too bad. I think the majority of the reasons people split up is because of money. I'm sure your dad would still be willing to take you to do that stuff, even though he doesn't live with you. Do you still see him often?

I'm back... sorta. XD I have more work to do, but I figured I'd at least post here for a second.

Oh man LH, that sounds rough. :( I'm sorry to hear you and your family have gone through hard times. Money is always a big factor in relationships it seems like -- it's too easy to just give up when things aren't going well. I know this from my own experiences. But it's good that you're motivated to do well in life and get a good, well-paying job. But just remember, money isn't everything, and it doesn't buy happiness, but it DOES make life easier (in some cases at least). Sometimes it makes life harder too, but usually that's just because you have too much of it. XP

sizzla: Yeah money doesn't buy happiness at all, but it will buy me a house. xP I just would like to live in a house with perhaps my own land. That would be amazing. And if I live with someone I'm happy with, that would be even amazinger (not sure if that's a word). This quote, "Money is the root of all evil." Yeah that's what money is doing to my family.

eroy: Yeah I do. =] He lives like 15mins away at his mom's house. xD He still takes me to my band stuff and everything but right now he's at our camp getting away from things...to clear his head and stuff.
