You watch too much TV D< and ohh no, that happens all the time, when people fail a class, but they don't fail the grade, if you fail a class you can easily fix it, normally you just have some work to do during the summer or maybe summer school, but I don't think I've heard of someone failing every class horribly.
The next level? Well right now we're all in high school (lycée) and normally next year we'd still be in high school, is that what you wanted to know?
Yeah I know, sometimes it seems unfair but usually when they let people pass when they have crap grades is because they know that even if they make them redo the year it won't do any good because the student's a lost cause, so at least if the teachers make you redo it's because they have faith that you can improve. Comforting though at least xP
