Jennifer.. Does your religions do THAT kind of stuff to people? I highly doubt that people in your religion will lock people in room for weeks, until the die, and then force them to work in labor camps... It's like.. The cruisades meets World War II.. I really hate Scientology..

The thing is. I am VERY open minded. I don't care if you are Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Hindu... It doesn't matter to me one bit. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, but NO one has the right to hurt other people and force their religion on someone. I know that scientologists don't force the religion on anyone, but they do hurt people, and if kids are born into the religion, and decide they don't want to be part of it, their parents are not allowed to ever communicate with them again... It's terrible, they will actually kick their kids out, give them nothing, and never speak to them again... I feel so bad for those kids...

I know it is a terrible thing. After reading that magazine article about the religion, I got interested in it and looked up some information. Is sad what goes on. :c

A lot of christians do try to force their religion on others, and I do believe that that is wrong, but not everyone does that.

Every Religion is False because there isn't anything there to believe in really.
They choose to believe in a higher being in order to not feel so small and alone and to not take responsibility for their actions. "Oh the devil made me kill or steal" that's so easy to base your problems on a "Evil" Being. Trust me...there isn't any 'devil' sitting on your shoulder. Human's are evil beings that do evil things. |
Humans are neither evil nor good.. Humans do know what is considered to be right or wrong based on what society has placed on them, but still not all are bad, and not all are good. Humans are just like the idea of ying and yang. Always a little of both inside them. But really.. the whole idea of good and evil was an image completely created by humans, and therefore doesn't exist itself.

I was born LDS and attended church every so often. My family wasn't really active. Then them missionaries came and bothered us a bit and got us to go more, luls~ Then like...I went to live with my mother (whos family is also LDS), but she started going to a regular Christian church and I'd go with her once in awhile. Until it closed because the pastor was caught having sexual relations with a fourteen year old girl...and he was like, 6Osomething. XD THEN uh...I went through this phase where I told people I was agnostic. I sort of believed for a long while that after death, there is nothing. Your body is just a corpse and your soul no longer lives, it just goes *poof!* ...yeah. o-o But now, eh. I like to think there is a God, but I certaintly don't attend church all the time or do anything. I just have faith, which is good enough for me. Last time I went to chuch is the same day President Gordon B. Hinkley died. o-o |
