There is a movie, if you can find it...it's called "Where The Heart Is" but not the one with Susan Serandon. This one has Uma Thurman before anyone even knew who she was. If you can find that movie you have to watch it. It's so good! Another movie I really love is called "American Dreamer"

I'll look for them on Netflix. :) I've been needing some good movies to watch.
What are Where the Heart Is and American Dreamer about?

Where the heart is, is about a family of rich kids and their dad throws them out to teach them a lesson. He puts them in this house that he is going to demolish. They have to figure out how to earn money, and the oldest daughter is an artist and she does the most amazing Tromp l'oiel paintings on the walls for a calendar. That makes it worth seeing right there. But the movie is funny and quirky and really cool.

Then American Dreamer is about this housewife in the midwest whose life really sucks and she likes to read these mystery novels about this woman who is kinda like the female equivelant of James Bond. So they have a writing contest and she wins and gets to go to paris, but she has an accident and wakes up thinking she is the character from this book. It's hysterical.

I started watching a movie that seems similar to Where the Heart Is but I didn't get to finish it. I forgot what it's called, but it's about a boy whose extremely rich father dies, and he has to do these tasks that involve good ol' fashioned hard work to get his portion of what his dad left for him in his will.

Well this movie is just funny. Uma's character brings this old homeless drunken magician in...it's just good.

ROFL I just went to my Netflix queue, which is actually my dad's Netflix account that we share, and he had added a movie called Hustle & Flow...

DJay (Howard) is a pimp with aspirations of grandeur -- he wants to make it as a rapper -- but he soon discovers that fame isn't all it's cracked up to be.
