Detroit is in the middle of the United States, Michigan. I'm in southern California. It's a 4 hour 20 minute flight. :lol: I like him, but if someone else came along in real life (which might happen soon...), well, I'd rather have someone I can see in person and talk to and touch and all that.

im in one myself and have been for 3 years+ already .. and we still have not met each other irl yet.. ^^; unfortunately he's at the other side of the world.. and we have been friends ( for 2 years ) before we got "involved" .

we're still planning for that "day" .. things are more possible now as there is money available already.. but there are issues still that we have yet to .. "overcome". >.<; that sorta thing that's stopping us from seeing each other yet.

I agree; I don't know if I could do an internet relationship myself. I would have to REALLY REALLY REALLY like the person a whole lot. I mean, I'm seventeen, I just moved to a new area close to where I used to live and I'm getting back in touch with old friends which means I'll be going out (not "going out" as in dating, "going out" as in hanging out and partying and such) regularly again, so there is bound to be conflict between irl/internet soon if I were to get into an e-lationship. Also, I have a difficult time trusting people, so it'd be really hard on me to be like "okay cool I have a boyfriend hundreds of miles away and I have no idea what he is doing."

Wow five years altogether; I hope you get to meet him soon, nurie! It must take a great deal of dedication.

Net relations are tough though, me and him like..NEVER talk online.
Which masses up my phone bill and this next one is MASSIVE. but..we cannot go 2 weeks without talking.x.x insane. So when he comes, he's buying my passport, giving me money for bill, and when he goes back he'll keep working to help me pay it.

I was looking up plane tickets to Detroit for September a while back. My friend is gonna be moving to a townhouse that is still part of school housing, instead of the dorms, and I have to wait until he's moved because the dorms don't allow people under eighteen to stay there. A round-trip ticket during that time was only $288 when I checked, so not too bad.

caro: yeah .-.;; all you can have for that person is to trust him that he would be loyal to you as you are to him. ^^;

besides, being apart just honestly creates a hole in both of you.. as emo as that sounds it's true.. lol :| the part of you that wants that person to be "there" with you.. the "physical" aspect of the relationship... ..

but yeah, honestly, i have no choice -.- i love him.. so.. really, better for it to be like this than not be together at all.. ^^;

@caro-He's coming towards end of the month, passport should arrive to him on the 12th.:3 o-o wow 288 is good. Round trip from Ohio to where Justin lives in Canada would be like..600-1,000 dollars.

@nurie-Because..I don't know.x.x it makes the distance more known. We can't hear each other, plus my computer is in living room so even if we used mics, it'd be weird with my family around. My mom is nosey with conversations. It's just nice to talk on phnone and fall asleep together.

Jun 20th marks 11 monthes, july 20th makes 1 year. I'm not sure if he'll still be here for our 1 year. That was our original plan but money and stuff altered our plans

Well Justin is going to be getting his ticket last minute. But instead of flying out from where he lives, someone will just drive him to Vancouver so he'll fly from there, making it cheaper.

Is he gonna get it from a site like Expedia or Hotwire? It'd probably be cheaper. X)
