FAI stands for Fight Against Inflation. It was started by a few users since most items are inflating because of items have no sellers, but many buyers, so they inflate T_T

well to be fair, MPG has not be updated in awhile and bunny hairpins have been going for 2k. I know Razor helped get some more in circulation by selling them for that much. Teh Linh valued my June sets at 600g so 2 june sets = 1200 + 800 gold = 2000g. some of the rarer items will be slighty more than MPG because it has not been updated or there have not been many for sale to be able to see how they have increased in value and rareness.
