SKC: Looking younger is only good when you get older. xD Once when I was 17, we went to the beach and the guy giving out energy drinks asked me if I was older than 13 because he couldn't give one to a younger person. (I was wearing a bathing suit at the time too!)

Sharpie: Cami beat me to it. Especially for science.. it's important to go to a bunch of different schools so you have more options to collaborate later on. Networking and such. *needs to get better at it*

And I love how close the whole site is most of the time. I like wandering around and always being able to recognize a few names here and there.

But its kind of sad that there's so few of us. I wish we had more people that would stick around... I got a few people to join, but they're not really active. ;.;

It's a Catch 18. New people don't tend to stick around because the site is so slow, but the site is so slow because new people don't stick around.

I only know the people in my one regular thread on gaia. I tried to be active elsewhere and the lack of continuous interaction just didn't work for me. It's definitely a vicious circle where it's hard to maintain activity if people aren't willing to stick it out and try to create activity themselves. ;_;

yea, most of the people that i know on gaia are through the exchange and the erm...CB
but with the CB its from Avi constests <3333

I was never actually myself on Gaia. I saw the whole site as a roleplaying location, and I was in character no matter what I was doing, including selling stuff in the exchange.

I never had the time of patience to try and make connections. I don't exchange or make awesome art or anything. Just another face in the crowd...

They weren't always. I joined only a few months after the site was created... June, I think, and it started in February. There were a lot less people, and so I knew more names then. And people actually talked to you when you went into threads, even if they'd never met you before. But still, I didn't make many friends.

It worked about a year ago. :sweat:

I could have donated for every item on Gaia. XD But I didn't start donating until October, so I suck.

I kind of miss having nothing to quest for on Mene, but I'm finally getting into buying commons, and that's fun.

Maybe it just wouldn't work for me. I'm awkward about maintaining conversation like that. xD
