I don't see how thats possible though... From my medical opinion, vitamins and minerals are essential to everyone...

I don't think you're really qualified for a 'medical opinion' as you're not a doctor. And yes, they're very important, but not when your body can't process them properly. I'm still trying to figure out a way to get necessary nutrients, I just haven't found it yet.

What about an IV? My friend had this weird condition so she'd take an IV with vitamins and minerals every weekend...

Uh, I get enough IVs, 'kay? Itty bitty veins, and I've been getting them for years, so there's already scarring. More IVs aren't an option for me unless it's to save my life.
