That bites. I imagine you would want to see your regular doctor as opposed to going to an urgent care center.

There are no 'urgent care' centers, only hospitals, and I'm not sick enough for that and it would cost a ridiculous amount of money.

That's too bad. My insurance coverage isn't all that good either. I didn't know that I had to let them know that my insurance has not changed in the past 6 months in order to be covered. I received some doctors bill that nothing had been paid on not long ago. I called the insurance carrier and they re-submitted the claims. You would think that I would just have to notify if there were actual changes.

Yeah, but people are stupid, therefore, doctors ask stupid questions.

>laughs< Indeed they are at times. I have this odd bump on my left leg for about a year now. My last doctor looked at it and said, "It's nothing." The next time I went to the same clinic and I saw my "new doctor", she said It doesn't look like much but gave me a surgical consult referral slip. Given how little my insurance actually covers, I decided against the consult. The bump is growing, so I suppose I should at least feign concern.

Tiger: Uh.... Yeah, you should get it looked at. Bumps in the legs can turn out to be bone cancer. I'm not saying that it is, but still, you should get it checked out.

Stardragon: I'm not rich. =S I'm finally getting SSI and I have a bit less than half of the back-payment they sent me. I decided to treat myself to things I've wanted for a long time at a very discounted price.

The only quality hospital in my area costs a lot of money and my insurance won't cover me there. The closest hospital to me is horrible, dirty, and the staff is incompetent. With my medical problems, I can't afford to go to the shitty local hospital. But with my financial situation, I literally can't afford the better hospital.

If I feel any sicker (minus the crappy time right after waking up) I'll call my doctor again and try to get an appointment. But if I stay where I am now, I'm not going to push for it.

I know, but I can't afford to take on another payment right now. You make sure you do get into see a doctor if your condition worsens, Cricket. Rather you like it or not, I worry about you because you're a friend to me.

I'm the same way when I get a Tax Refund. But then again tiger they could just be a pimple or boil.

And I worry about you and that bump on your leg. You just gotta ask yourself this; is it cheaper to have it looked at now and catch it early, or is it cheaper to wait until there's no longer a simple solution?

Anyways, I might be greedy and ask you for another loan. I feel like crap and I wanna splurge, and I'm afraid I might give in and do it with real money so I'd rather do it with pixelated money. >.<;;
