Hey, that's a good idea. I think I'll get out the equipment to play baseball today. :D! Sorry that you ache all over though. D:
Elmira. OO~ rain. Yeah, I don't want any rain today! Don't send it over here. ; O; I like this sun we got. I want to play outside all day if I can. Maybe this summer I can get a tan!

Grocery shopping sounds good though.
Lol, it's cool x.x
I just hate having two games in a row AT 5 AND 7 D<
I better get moving soon... but Otto is asleep... I think I may scrub the mission to the clothing store until later in the week so we don't have to deal with the redneck morons at Wally world and can go to the low-key grocery store instead.
We need a Wally-World here. :( The closest one is two hours away. I get excited just making a trip there when we can. And people are like, "Oh, you're going to the mall!?" and I'm like, "Uh...yeah, that too - but we're also going to Wal-Mart!" *jumps around excitingly* lol. Everyone in our family gets excited about going there, because we don't go there often. :XD
Or yah know, Costo and Sam's Club. Instead of the stupid, lame stores we have around here. Just local places and grocery stores that charge so much because they know they're the only ones around for miles.
Holy crap, Carlie. That'd be just too much for me! They work ya, don't they...
Jennifer - That sounds a lot like what we experienced in rural MA. Here, we have 2 Walmarts in the county. One is ok, but full of obnoxious country people and the other is horrid and full of obnoxious rednecks - and there is a difference. We have 2 grocery stores that are family run and aren't expensive and 2 grocery stores that are part of 2 different chains, and they are decent, but more expensive. Oddly enough, the most expensive store tends to have the most obnoxious wealthy people who go there after church. I've never seen so much snottiness in one place.
I miss being back home in Idaho. They had a Wal-Mart that was on the other side of the town, and was a good walk if you wanted to get out and enjoy the weather. Idaho Falls has two, and that's the place I was talking about. Sometimes we'll hit up both if we're in a good mood.
As far as the grocery stores here go. All the towns in this certain area is basically classified as Star Valley Ranch. You have Alpine on one end (Alpine Market; I used to work there) which is the smaller market, Valley Market that is Thayne (it's the market that isn't so small, but doesn't also have as much) and the other store in Afton (which has nearly everything). Alpine and Afton are run by the same people. Mind you, I cannot work at either of them anymore. Because of the "stunt" I pulled. d:
I was going to start schooling, so I gave them notice that I was going to quit. Well, what they didn't know is that Randy (old friend and coworker) told me he was going to quit, too. So I told them one week before Randy quit that I was going to stay. They got really mad because they was already going to hire someone else. Randy hadn't told them he was going to quit I guess. I tried telling them that and they wouldn't listen. So I was like, "Screw it! I quit!" and I actually walked out of work after being there two hours. I already didn't like it there anyway. I was the shy quiet girl that got ordered around a lot. So I actually stopped what I was doing, walked back, grabbed my time card and punched out. Manager asked what I was doing. So I told him that I quit. He was freaking out! I then gave him a piece of my mind as well as two others that was on shift. A few of the customers actually applauded me. Because I was liked by A LOT of customers. Anyway, I didn't tell them that Randy was going to quit. He did a week later (like I knew he would), came to my house and gave me a hug and said goodbye (and he went back to California). I went into the grocery store to go shopping a few days later and they was all looking at me like they was mad. I just remember saying, "Hey, maybe next time you'll listen to me." Apparently, it took them three weeks to find the two replacements.
You mean, you're not going to miss it?? Are you going to college next year or just moving out?
I remember my senior year, like it was... *cough*26 years ago. Seriously, the best thing about it was that it was over. At the time, my parents were driving me insane about going to college and all I wanted to do was join the Air Force. Well, I went into the Navy instead and also went to college for a quarter. I would recommend the military IF you had the right mind-set for it. I did not.
I never got to experience a senior year. But yeah know, I don't miss high school that much at all. I think the best years of your life are after that - no matter how hard it is. As far as high school and relationships go, One Tree Hill doesn't help much at all. And I actually love that show for some reasons.
Smart enough?? Egad. I barely made it in because I don't do well with math. I had a clerical job - lots of typing and filing. Why would you think you're not smart??
The sky looks pretty clear and we're expecting rain later, so I'm heading out to deal with rabid grocers :ninja:
I'm slow at learning. I only learn quickly in areas I know I'll do well in. My mind gets lazy and sort of works at a different pace than the rest of my body.
