If you lean it up to your ear, radio waves do get close to your brain.

Which is why it's recommended to use headphones. I'm not sure about bluetooth, but seeing as it's wireless (meaning probably using radio waves as well,) I wouldn't use them either.

Either way, I still use my cell phones. It doesn't give everyone who uses them cancer, but yes, if you sleep next to 1000 cell phones a night, it increases your chances of getting radiation cancer.

Texting is cool if you don't want to actually carry on a large conversation with a dude. It'd be kinda weird to call someone, ask what's up, have BS talk for a minute or so, and say bye.

I'd get bluetooth. :3 You don't have to worry about those nasty strings from headphones, they're so annoying at times and I always accidentally pull them off. Plus, they always tangle up. xD

The radiation that emits threw satellites go towards the cell phone, then the sound from the cell phone connects to the blue tooth. That's what makes the most sense to me, so I'm guessing that bluetooth isn't even as harmful as standing next to the microwave.

It's horrible. I mean, I love everything, except it uses GameGuard. Which, if you didn't know, epicly fails. It's also used on Menewsha, and what a surprise! Hacks ALREADY exist for the closed beta! Almost every map contains a hacker, so I'm not too fond of that part. But I love everything else, skills are awesome, every quest leads on to another, so you're never grinding to level, but performing tasks and leveling along the way. :D lol. /end review.

I GOT A TICKET FOR BEING ON THE PHONE WHILE DRIVING. WTF.

okay. i admit i told the cop i didn't know. but he gave me this look like "WTF ARE YOU FROM MARS?" but seriously. if my mom didn't mention it nor had my engineering teacher mass emailed my entire class a notice about it (which i so happened to read and look up) then i wouldn't have known about it.

not like i watch LOCAL tv or the LOCAL news. I watch CNN and USA and read up on the rest of the world on cnn.com. and there's no news about hawaii's changing laws in those news.

so i asked, "was it on tv or something?" and he said "uhh yeah for 4 months now" seeing as how i've been in school buried in exams and projects, had no time for tv in the first two months, been moving in the last two, and therefore had NO tv until 15 days ago, THE COP WAS BEING A BIG FAT JERK.

People in Oregon always talk on phones while driving, I don't see any cop pulling anyone over unless something really endangering is going on. Not even seat belts. Those cops piss me off. :/

and i was on the phone for a total of like 5 seconds, cause i didn't want to talk to my dad who was calling to tell me something stupid. seriously, i picked up, he said one sentence i said "OK BYE" and hung up. :/

it irritated me more that he looked at me as if i should've known what was going on. when i seriously if not for my mom mentioning it and my teacher emailing me, i wouldn't have known about. so it was only by chance i found out, otherwise i wouldn't have known. and supposidly there's a "no ignorance" excuse even if i want to write in and say i didn't know?

Wow... I dunno if that's a law in NZ. I don't think it is. but you do get pulled over and stuff if Cops see you talking on the phone and get warnings. As i have before xD.

In some ways, I don't think there should be money-costing tickets. That's just a stupid excuse for the state to get money.

The only tickets that should be warranted is insurance going up, or license suspension tickets. Sounds harsh, but money? Really? :/

Reason why there are cops/tickets in the first place is to prevent accidents. I think the license suspension tickets and what not would be allot better.

well seeing as how it would be my first offense and he blatantly (i believe) saw me pick up the phone and then throw it down a few seconds later, i should've gotten a warning especially when i said i honestly didn't really know about it. CONSIDERING it went into effect 15 days ago. now that i look it up online, it says that cops gave warnings to lots of people. and it is usually up to the cop. but i guess he saw i was young and just assumed i watched lots of tv, interacted with lots of people, goes on twitter, go out a lot (it was posted on boards along the freeway). <- none of which i do, he didn't believe me.

yes, it would've been better if he caught that pick pocket down the street (happens often) or taken care of the fainted man on the sidewalk (which i saw happened once while nobody did a thing about it and it was in the same area).

pretty pissed off, but tension said that "ignorance isn't an excuse" and i'm assuming that the judge would think the same thing.

i honestly don't know what i'd write in it, and everything that is the truth does sound like an excuse. x-x;

i did get a parking ticket a few months back, i was actually walking down to the meter to put in a quarter and saw a cop drive off while i crossed the street. i wrote in a dispute and got a letter back two months later saying they didn't receive anything at all from me and that i had to pay my fine. o__O;;
