Thanks Jean. I did put in a couple applications today and have called around trying to arrange appointments and such for Michigan Works. I can't get through on their line though. :( Probably will have to go in person.

I spent most of today just getting tickets. Reason why I haven't been on here as often. When I was 10k away, I just kept playing Word Slugger til I had enough. I'm kind of freaking out now. :XD I really wanted the Zune, and I thought by the time I had enough, it wouldn't be available anymore. So I just pushed myself. I'm excited. =3

I've been okay. I found a job finally - it's working back at the market (where I had quit), haha. I called the big boss and asked if I was able to apply again, since it's been eight months. And he was actually really nice about it. I thought he would give me a big fat no. But I was desperate. So I asked and he said, "Oh yeah, no problem - sure thing, go on ahead." So I put in an application and was hired just yesterday. I don't start for another week though.

My job thingy didn't work out how I wanted it to. -__- So basically I'm back looking for something else. Which obviously is not going over well with my mom. She almost kicked me out again. : /

Oh no, what happened with work? .___.

Well first day went fine. Next day woke up and couldn't walk. Apparently I over extended the muscles over my knee in both my legs. It took several days before they no longer hurt (and of course my ankles and back started hurting a couple days after that). So basically I went 1/5 days of work then hit my "weekend". Then Sunday night I don't really know what happened, but I just couldn't make myself go back. -__- I fail at life. Seriously.

Maybe that sort of work was just too much strain on you physically. Sorry to hear about it all though. Just keep looking for some other sort of work. Get the newspaper or look for online community ads.

I guess it's worth a shot sometimes to look though. That's how Wendy finds a lot of the jobs she's done. Some are just temporary jobs, but it's work nonetheless.
