Don't feel too bad, Jen. All my 'memorable' birthdays were equally shitty. My 21st I spent at my ex-MILs house drinking cheap cider, my 18th it was so bad I don't even remember WHAT I did, and my 16th my mom bought me a bouquet of white roses that ended up going all brown the next day. I think my 16th I spent with some Japanese lady who would tutor me and I was suppose to tutor their son in English but it just never happened.
