Um... -chan is something to put at the end of a name.. Shows being familiar with someone. Chan is USUALLY on the end of friends names (close female friends). -san is like saying Mr or Miss. Sama is like the more polite version of -san. -kun is the same thing as -chan, but more often used for younger males... -senpai is used for someone of higher status, usually an upper-classman. -kohai is usually someone of lower status or an underclassman.. that sort of thing.. They are honorifics..
