Mmm - that's a bit more difficult to say, I'm afraid! It will depend entirely upon supply.

Most likely I'll just be doing an auction for a single item a day (for example, one Obsidian Gargoyle Horn auction in the morning and evening on Monday, Tuesday with a morning and evening auction for the Tail; etc), or a bulk auction (all three items, morning and evening) on the weekend days. We'll see how many I end up auctioning this month!

If anyone has a preference, I'll certainly listen, though I can't say for certain that the "majority vote" will definitely get implemented.

Fair enough. Just thought I'd give it a stab to get a time frame. Though, it is good to know they will still be there in October at the very least. :3

As I get down to the end of my current stock (never fear, I shall find another crate of items soon enough), I'd like to ask if I am doing a decent job of having stock available during hours bidders are online.

If you're not online at the hours I'm usually posting the goods, could you please tell me your time zone (a link to an internet clock would be useful if you're not in the United States) and what time(s) would be better for you?

I cannot promise I can always post items at that time, but I will do my best to accommodate people who take the time to inform me.

Don't worry. You're doing a good job. Perhaps, find a way to spread the auctions out so everyone gets a chance. Like make one or two at one time (like when you see a high number of members online) and then space out some during the other hours.

My only complaint with the auctions has nothing to do with when things are available. But rather the lengthy bid wars. And I don't blame or really hold any ill will towards those who are in them. I just dislike them. xD

Currently I try to have my auctions set at between 5am and 8am Pacific time (server time) and 4pm and 9pm Pacific time. I stagger the hours a little mostly based on what day of the week it is in the United States when the auction ends.

Physically looking to see who is online would require I sit and watch the online numbers and have an auction that ended (hopefully) when those users were still online, which seems a bit of too much hassle for myself and the users. That's why I'm asking if anyone having problems bidding on them when they are available has a suggestion on what time(s) may be better for them. *smile*

Those seem like fair hours. *would calculate them into Eastern time but is too lazy*

Ah. Would be nice if there was a way to gather information of like a select period of time (say, a week or two) and see when online members are at a peak. :(

Hey Mr. Auctioneer, would it be possible to list items in a different order each time? I have it now, but I kept missing the traitors of peeblo cloak because it was always the first item listed (and the first item to be auctioned off). I know the items are listed at almost the same time, but until yesterday I would always miss the first item. :(

the times seem pretty good for me.
but one thing i would suggest is to have the time ending staggered a bit more?
i keep missing and not winning what i am bidding on but see the other go for a price i can afford.
for example the gargoyle wings and gargoyle tail seem to end at the exact same time.
but for the most part i think you are doing an amazing job.

I can certainly try... I generally order them "front to back" or "back to front" as they appear in my inventory so I don't miss out on one. Let's see how it goes if I completely reorganize their order...

Certainly. I simply stopped doing them because no one was bidding even on very rare items. What might you be looking for? I can see if I have it.

I'll try to end the auctions roughly 30 minutes apart rather than the 10 - 15 minutes apart I have been doing. Of course, if people continue to bid, it eats up the "spacer" time between auctions and there's nothing I can actually do about that!

Yes - Mr. Mayor gives me an excellent deal on the goods left behind by people who have "legal problems" and are put on a particular boat off the islands and sent to the Land of Banned. *smiles* Goods are held in a particular area for at least a few months, just in case the situation was deemed improper, but then I can go shopping if I'm in need of a particular item.

Vickyll - I don't seem to have a Captain's Hooch, but I'll see if I can get one. Remind me if I haven't found one by Winter Nights and I'll make sure it's there then.
