I got a warning--which was reasonably fair, I was a cockbag. But, I PM'd the mod for clarification--and they refused to reply. So, I was told to send an email to Membertalk (their "contact us") and it's been a month (they say they reply within two weeks) and they haven't replied.

I'm just tired of the poor customer service (I consider myself an actual customer, because until a week ago I spent a minimum of $10 a month there, but usually more around $30) and I'm tired of the mods being hoity-toity dicks (for the most part, there are a handful I'm friends with and absolutely adore the pants off of). It takes 5 seconds to answer a question, and leaves the user--if not happy, then with closure.
Don't be a mod, if you aren't willing to answer questions and be on the front front front end of customer service, IMO.

I'm also tired of needing to spend at least $20 a month in order to get all the good stuff--it's not worth the money or the time. I've barely even logged in in the past month, too.

I left Gaia shortly after I stopped being a Forum Assistant xD I cannot say a lot, obviously, but it was definitely not worth it. I thought it would be, but it wasn't.

I'd like to be a mod, but it's mostly because I love answering questions and being able to say "Hey let me help you with that."
But I can totally see it getting on my nerves, especially on a site like Gaia.
On a site similar to menewsha, it would probably be easier--I was considered for a mod position on Ernya (but declined in the end because I couldn't get into the site), and I was the lead Administrator of the Moderators for Jinksu until the other Admins started acting like assholes and I quit.--But I guess that's what happens when you're trying to organize a bunch of inexperienced teenagers to work together.

I'm also going to be an AA on zazabar's site once it comes out.
But a site as big as gaia? No thank you.
Or as inconsistent as menewsha? Noooo, absolutely not.

I left meez.com after being a mod for like a year there. It just got too boring for me. Not a lot of people wanted to chat. It was hey look at this, I don't care what you say. Blah. Lol. I love mene. :hug:

I only have experience as staff on Gaia. So I can' t say I would like to again (on any site), since my first experience was so bad. :sweat: But I know every site is different, and some things are better than others. I like to help people, too, but sometimes I think I go overboard :lol:

At any rate, Menewsha is the only avatar site I'm on. And Lilifactory, too, but not actively.

Yeah... Kitteh could never be a mod. XD I'm too all over the place.

Oh, so you were talking in general terms and not specific? xP And I miss old cartoons... haven't watched TV (on a regular basis) for the last 3-4 years because there's nothing good to watch these days anyway...

yeah. I don't know if it's because I'm getting older or if tv shows are actually getting worse. The only show I watch with any sort of interest is Face-off. It's a high end movie make-up competition. I like seeing how they dress up their models every week. I hope it gets a second season too.
