Lavinia: I really want to get back into role-playing again. It's been so long and that is how I got started on Gaia. It's one of my few passions, but I feel bad because it can take me awhile to find the right words to contribute at times. xD

Been sniffly the last few days, and started coughing a bit yesterday, and been hacking like crazy today and losing my voice. -__-;; I have to work with kids. Dont know how i'll manage without my voice. I started losing it today just from having to yell at them.

And yes, I work with kids. I work at an after-school program in my town, and specifically tend to have the 5th graders. Use to have the 4th and 5th, but I was getting up to 30 kids on my own somedays, which isn't allowed. So she finally split the classes up, which has been fabulous. There are a lot less 5th graders, and most of them are in sports, so I barely have any kids each day. They can be a major handful, though. They dont take me very seriously usually because i'm 19. -__-;; I also joke around with them a lot, so I think that they're too comfortable with me, and dont think that they'll get in trouble.

Yeah, its really icky. I wasn't able to participate in my Botany lab today because it was a "field trip", and they were hiking at a slope, which I wouldn't have been able to breathe to do. D: So, he told me just to not worry about trying to go and to feel better, and to just gets the notes from someone else. But we have another "field trip" thursday, and I doubt it'll be better by then. :gonk: Its too close to finals to be missing class.

@ momo - Thank you. :hug: I hope so, too. I hate getting like this. Makes me feel just miserable, and terrible for school and work. I just hope it doesn't get worse, because then i'm not going to feel too safe driving. I tend to get very dizzy when I get to coughing and sniffling too much.

And i've been taking cough medicine like crazy today, so that should hopefully help. I think I hacked up a lot of what was in my throat for the night already, so coughing isn't so bad now. And my nose isn't quite as stuffed. Really hoping that tomorrow i'll be improved! lol

And I have a whistle that I use with the kids. They get too loud, I use the whistle.
