Though it really is throwing me off of my quest... I started after some halloween items and now I want the staff of healing again. Blah!

I just looked it up and can see why... I stuck it on my watch list... I want to buy ^_^

there are a few other things I want to... but they are all selling for 9999 gold. Guh. Won't buy anything for over 3,000. That is my personal limit.

I have a zillion things on my watch list. My hiatus really derailed all of my questing. So I have all my original quests plus everything from 2011.

Yeah, that is going to take a lot of work to get... role playing is a good way to build up gold... When I was on more often, I was getting a 1000 gold a day... barely. Day 5 I stopped though because real life had been neglected and Menewsha was becoming lonely with so few on.

I've actually never roleplayed on Mene. I feel like I'm at this really weird inbetween state... I can definitely write at a high rate of literacy, but my creative juices haven't been flowing in a long time. So I have no idea where to even begin.

Begin with something random. Something ordinary you experience from day to day and then throw in a twist. For example:

She walked down the hall. As a teacher, it was expected that the students would move aside to allow the teacher to pass. However it was first thing in the morning. The students were all in their homerooms with their homeroom teachers. She approached the room where her department, the history teachers, met every morning. Opening the door, she walked in ready to start the meeting only to be met by silence. No one was there. In a heartbeat she realized her mistake. With a sinking feeling, she turned and raced down the hall towards the office. It was Wednesday. There was a school wide meeting for the staff every Wednesday. She was going to be late.

Okay, that is what I experience almost every week... except that I work with ESL teachers and we meet with the Korean teachers once a week. I always forget. Anyrate, you throw a twist in there. Something unexpected.

She reached the office door and paused to catch her breath. Once she had regained her composure, she opened the door and quietly went in. It was silent here too. There was no one missing, but they were rigid as if time had stopped. She glanced at the clock, yet it was still moving. She walked to one of the statues that was a friend and held her hand in front of his face. No breathe came out of his mouth or nose. It was as if all living things had simply frozen still in one second. She looked around confused. Was this a prank?

Oh lordy the new may CI is just beautiful! I hope to get one before time runs out for it. Or, at the very least, from the market. xD I really wanted to be able to buy a CI with my own money for once, but the rest of my money went into supplies for my art class. TnT

Also, Maiden you roleplay like a champ! Back when I started a roleplay, each post I made was SUPER long. Not so much for the gold count, but because I always had a lot of details flowing in my head. (I also take forever to get down to a point sometimes) :lol: Usually when I go into the RP section, I see roleplays that don't really strike my fancy and roleplays that are filled with one-liners. One-liners are kinda annoying.

Demo, I know how that is. Classes are so freaking expensive! There is always something else to buy. And poor you, art classes have the most things.

I only had like $10 left to my name and I wanted to spend a couple bucks of it on the next CI. Turns out I had to bring my plaster sculpture home with me to work on it, but I have no tools. I know I have a little bit of money left to my name, but not much.

Now that I think about it, I believe I agreed to take on a small job of helping my second cousin organize her house. I haven't seen it, but she says it's REALLY bad. Bad to the point of her friends saying they'll help her, but they wind up flaking on her. I don't expect it to be easy, but she says she'll pay me for it. I could really use the money. I could use some of that for the CI. :D

Well there you go! Good luck with that! My room is pathetic right now. If you lived near me, I'd totally pay you to organize it, too. Haha.
