I wouldn't mind being rated. I'm fairly new so I don't have a set image in my head of what I want my avi to be.

I started with V-Day event times since I sighed up just before the event, and those were the first I got. I love purple, but I realized that I had too much of it, so I threw in some orange via the coat, because orange/yellow are suppose to be complimentary colors to purple. Not wanting to have only two colors I chose to equip some event items in pink. They aren't visible, but there are also small star earrings.

It might be silly, but I'm especially fond of the purple gradient T under the coat. It blends in the the pants in a way that pleases me. Haha. I think the white stockings make the outfit look a little more complete then bare legs would have. I also don't think that either the pink lantern or the pink hair clip would work if there was only one or the other equipped. Having the color both near the top of the avi, and then lower near the bottom makes it seem as if it ought to be there.

Well, that was my reasoning. I'd love to get some input. I know it isn't 'done' yet, but I'm a little stumped as to what to add without overwhelming it. :)

I'm feeling a little under the weather right now, so I wont' be doing any ratings in this post. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up so you don't feel neglected and all. I'm just sniffling and coughing and it's cold outside :<

Okay, now that I'm feeling genuinely better and don't have stuff to catch up on (mostly), on to the rates.

@Luenola: Lovely colors, It looks very regal and sort of romantic. I don't think you need the glasses at all, and i"m not sure how much of this is from the same update/set. still, it flows pretty well. Too much red on the shoulders makes your feet look a little empty. Too much gold on our arms does the same for your lower body in general. Also not sure if you need the fireworks. Remove a few things for better balance. 6.5/10

@Rain: Lovely changes you've made! Do the black wraps peek through the legwarmers? I feel like it needs a bit more. The different teals with only the darker at the top and then lighter in the rest is a little iffy, but together it still works.
I like that it almost looks like you're "walking" the two hand-held items XD 8/10

I'm amazed at how 2 pages is mostly just the same people talking. At the same time, it make things easier for me, yay~ lol

@hirarro: Too many colors with not much balance. needs more gold at the bottom, the eyes don't match anything. Needs purple at the top, too much white at the legs. Maybe some pink on the actual body. In general try to tone down the amount of colors or add more to balance out better.

@Arikana: The colors are great, and so is the repetition of stripes. I'd try to play with that a bit more, almost. It's visually appealing. Maybe more gold at the ankles, and some black at the head. Also, the amount of blue on the torso compared to everywhere else is a bit too distracting. Perhaps a gold necklace?

Thank you, Platty. I believe I only used about three items from each set at best, but I couldn't tell you which are part of the same update. My memory fails like that. :sweat:

I tried getting some red to the bottom, but it didn't turn out very well, and removing any of the red items near the shoulders kinda ruined the look I was aiming for. I did remove one of the gold accessories on my arms though. Tried removing the spectacles, but the face looked a bit too...blank, perhaps is the word I'm looking for, for my tastes. XD"
