Haha, don't like to have a static avatar, so once I expand my wardrobe a bit, I'll probably change it every couple of days. I love playing with the cute clothes, so mainly I don't dress any one specific way.

Ah, my friend does that... On another avatar thing like this, I had a lot of items, and I would change it to match a holiday. :) :P

Well for now, I'm just focusing on giving my avatar decent looking clothes that I can afford.
In the future, I plan to buy various sets of outfits that have a nice color combination - mainly of teal as it is my favorite color.

I just have a thing for corsets...

But on all the other avi sites I belong to I go for cute and matching. I hate cluttery mismatched avi's so . . . I guess I'm trying to set an example? I dress in things that aren't annoying to draw! How about that?

Mostly because I wanted to have a sprite that looked like my avatar, and an avatar that looked like my sprite.

Good job.
I personally prefer layers, and such.
I feel like you should do a layered, fitted look, and add eyes where it looks like you are raising one eyebrow, probably style 5, and do the angry brows.

Everyone's avatar is so cool!

My avatars almost never look anything like me, with the exception of the eye color. I love my eyes, so my avatars always get turquoise eyes.
I generally like to dress my avatars as I would dress if there were no social constructs in the way. I love hooker red, and shapely outfits. I like flowing material and lots of frills. My current avatar is a bit bare, because I've been here all of two days, but it already reflects a lot about my fantasy self.

i just save up and buy what ever i think is cute! xD its kind of the same way in real life...

1) My avatar looks nothing like me, as I am female.
I picked a male because then I could create the perfect guy :)

2) I'm going with the Vampiric/ Victorian/ Steam punk look because, well, I thinks it's suave and debonair. I love REAL vampires, like Anne Rice and Nosferatu, not the sparkly vampires that seem to be popular *twitches*

IRL I'm a Steampunk/goth, and I'd die of joy if I saw one of my steampunk buddies dressed like him...

I like doing exotic-looking avis, ones that can't be tied to something definitive. I go for avis with powerful expressions, because I command the attention of others ;)

Cuz I like making black&white aviis, so to make it look more original&'Haru-like'... I add a third color!

My avatars appearance is based off of me, and her wardrobe is just what I would wear if I could IRL.

I really dislike going for complex and bulky avatars ^.^' maybe thats why I suck at the games in the Avatar Chat *giggles*

I'm relatively new, so my avatar needs a bit of work.
I've always wanted to do something based off of the Madhatter from Alice in Wonderland, but a little darker. Kind of like the Madhatter in Tim Burton's version, but not quite as eerie. So, that's what I'm working on at the moment.

Well, firstly I'd like to say that I am not trying to make a Valentine's avatar. That being said, the reason why I like my avatar like this is because it has two great colors that compliment each other well. I like cutesy, girly looking styles. Red is my birthstone color and pink just goes nice with red and it's a cute girly color. :)
