Oh my. O_o;; That sounds pretty crazy.
But Netflix isn't only online here. In fact, it use to only be through the mail. You order them and they send you the movie through the mail. You watch it, send it back, and they send you the next one on your que, but you can only have one at a time, if thats the kind you're paying for (which is what we have). But they have it now where you can do that and still watch online, too. I just watch it on my wii. :yes: I think its awesome. Although, they dont have that many movies that you can instant watch. Some of them are lame or you've already seen enough times. But still pretty cool. My parents will watch it on their computers or phones. My dad watches it on his phone, because he's a truck driver and thats all he'll have to use that'll get internet (my mom has decided his laptop is hers now). And my mom is always watching shows on the laptop. She's an addict. o_o;;

Wow. Thats very rediculous indeed. Thats going to piss a lot of people off. :x Its because of shit like that that makes people go out of buisness. If something is working, and you aren't losing money, then you should probably stick with it instead of taking all the good stuff away from people. I mean, really?

I couldn't agree more! Oy. God damn recessions, i'm tellin' ya. Problem is that everyone is trying to find jobs right now, and that means there are really a lot more people that are more suitable for jobs that are getting hired, because they probably lost their old jobs due to cut backs anyway. So many people need jobs right now, its crazy. I bet its stressful for buisnesses that are hiring. They more than likely get a ton of applications, and then have to try to pick through them to decide. I'm sure after a few they start to get sour and even pickier, so if you're not one of the first ones, and you're not really really qualified, its harder to get the job.

yeah no one in my family has netflix. and the mail system in canada sucks ass. seriously. it took almost a month for a package to get from toronto to montreal. and they are two big cities! its crazy. so they knew that the mailing system wouldnt work here so they only offer the internet one. but because of the way our internet is charged here, barely anyone i know even thinks about it. i had one friend get it and then cancel it because of the hidden increased internet charges i was telling you about earlier.

and thats my point. if we arent offering any reasons for people to come to the store, then they wont. and thats that. im going to be out of a job probably very shortly and i dont know what im going to do about it other then find a new job as soon as i can.

and there are a bunch of jobs being created here, its just that all the full time jobs are being cut back and the only jobs being created are part time minimum wage. which means those people need to get two jobs to make up for the one they used to have, which means there are not any more jobs in the end being created! its so frustrating!

Suona 06-15-2011 07:57 PM

Wow. I wont be moving to Canada anytime soon. That'd drive me bonkers. I already dislike having to wait even a week to get a package. ><;; Right now i'm impatiently waiting for my package of books to get here, and its only been 3 days.

Well, at least you're planning ahead. Thats very wise to keep an eye on it like that and be prepared for when/or if it might drop. Having a back up plan is really good. That way you hopefully wont have to go without a job for long.

That is frustrating. Why do things always have to be so difficult? Oy.

Nephila 06-15-2011 10:06 PM

Having only one part time job is ideal for mental sanity. If your good with money and start working in high school and have a room mate/mates or live at home. Then again I have child tax and a savings portfolio so *shrugs* honestly if it wasn't for the gimicky buy it now things and the nickel and dime neo wave entertainment paying for digital movies instead of owning a physical copy.... I wonder if people realise how much more they'll be paying for movies on the new system. As soon as more people are permanent digital renters the licenses for movies will go up and they'll be paying the same for literally nothing. I guess as a collector I like having the physical movies of ones that I'm more a fan of. I dunno.

Personally I think if everyone stopped working full time jobs and went to only one part time it would be better. I rather like the European 3-4 work day a week full benefits system. Did you know in France and most of Europe they have a nanny system where if all your family works the 3-4 work day once a week they'll send government nannies to take care of the kids while you and hubby have a rest day? They even do windows or make super!

Seriously with all the single mom's and people looking for work WHY is their no Nanny to come to my house once a week? To clean and look after the kids. How many jobs would that give right there? Once a week Government paid homemakers please. <3

well if it were easy then it wouldnt be good for you. working out is hard and its good for you. staying away from eating sugar is hard... very hard.... and its good for you. making your own meals for every meal of the day, drinking 8 glasses of water etc. i think that having a good job and being able to afford a comfortable living is good for you and thats why its hard to achieve.

if not that, then i got no clue. and why its like that? i dont know.... i didnt design it to be like that, that's for sure.

Nephila 06-15-2011 11:29 PM

I've been so slack on working out this month. Horrible!

I want to lose 10-20 pounds before Christmas. It's a doable goal...BUT will I do it? I have a horrible habbit I've been trying to break. I tend to eat RIGHT before sleeping. Not a light snack either. I forget to eat during the day so I have a big meal before bed.

It's also the last 20-25 I'm trying to loose and I hear that's the hardest part. I kinda want to try something I've heard on the radio the past couple of months...but it's free samples of recently approved pills. Starts with I B, I forget exactly.

bloodstainedwings 06-16-2011 01:50 AM

i wouldnt take pills if i were you. im just aiming to lose 10 pounds... well more like 2 inches and mostly reduce fat and replace with muscle because although i look great, im terribly weak and weak hearted as well. so i joined a gym and im fixing my diet. i think if you want to lose it, fix your diet and get advice from a person trainer/join a gym. its the safest and most effective way. it also ensures that you keep it off, which is best as well. because yo-yoing is horrible

Nephila 06-16-2011 02:05 AM

That's how I feel too. My common sense is saying WOMAN GET OFF YOUR FAT ASS! lol. Plus the whole "free samples" thing REALLY doesn't make me put any confidence into them.

I've yo-yoed once. I manage to keep around 150ish with not much effort though. (I walk back and forth to work every day) But it seems my body is holding onto the last 25 I want to lose. (I was 193 after my baby EW) I think if I could get rid of that one really bad habit of eating before bed it would make a big difference.

I don't have a car(principals on spending on fuel), or extra money to join/get easily to a Gym because sadly there aren't any in my general area. My bf has a lot more to loose than I do and we go for walks together so he's my support system right now...but during winter it's hard since it gets so cold here (Winnipeg MB) But it's nice out again and I'm really getting the call to walk and garden.

I have to do an altered program because of my knee accident in high school and him because of both his knee and back. When doing huddles in gym someone set up the equipment wrong and my knee snapped back and I kicked myself in the head. I looked like a broken rag doll. It sucked. It's never fully healed or felt the same. It's like I have an old woman's knee because I can really feel the change in weather. An odd feeling for sure.

bloodstainedwings 06-16-2011 08:55 PM

yeah that is a pretty bad habit to have. i agree that changing that will make a huge difference in your life. but dont let your knee problem stop you. there is a ton of activities that you can do that are low impact on the knees. like swimming. just stay away from things like step or kick boxing.

but i do understand the finacial situation. a little too well for my liking. but i found out that the gym i joined, if i volunteer with them once a week i get a free membership. so thats what im doing and next month i probably won have to pay for my gym membership. and that money that i save there is the money i use to get there with bus tickets. so it works out very nicely. so you might just have to go into the gyms i your town and see what kind of special offers they have like that. you might have to volunteer. but the volunteering commitment means you in there every week for that. and while your there, you might as well work out right? makes sense to me. thats how im doing it right now. im really soar from it though. but you have to push yourself in the last 10 pounds or it isnt going to go anywhere.

*Hime* 06-17-2011 02:29 PM

Omg, what a day full of a achievement! I studied all night, went to my exam, got back, went to the piercing shop and got my ear pierced again, and then got a new haircut.
I feel satisfied.

And now I'm off for a nap ^^

bloodstainedwings 06-17-2011 03:57 PM

wow that is a productive day. today i did laundry and put on a corset because i am in a lot of back pain right now. i had a bath too. and now im making lunch. i work later tonight though and ill walk there and walk back. maybe have subway for dinner.

Dillo 06-17-2011 04:49 PM

Bloodstain, me and you should go on a date!;]

bloodstainedwings 06-17-2011 07:39 PM

i dont know if thats exactly safe for me, considering the blood on you and all.

Nephila 06-17-2011 11:19 PM

@BSW: That's a smart way of doing it. I'm not sure what I could do there though. I've never been to a gym, only kpet active myself threw walking with my daughter and workout dvds.

bloodstainedwings 06-19-2011 12:53 PM

well if you go to the right gym they help you. i didnt know what to do at all and was intimidated by the whole concept of it. but i went to a class and then i talked to some people and they told me to talk to the front desk people. so i did and the ladies there showed me how to use the machines, what i should do, what i shouldnt do, what does what and everything. i even have a routine now i can do on my own that i am comfortable with. i think going is the first step. and talking is the second. you never know until you ask right? so go, ask. see what you can find out.

Nephila 06-20-2011 08:11 PM

Alright my bf and daughter are starting a program together. Also just asking if we've done our routine will help us. It's a "simple" 3 times a week thing and they showed us things to do for bad knees. It's burst training where you go hard as you can for 30 seconds and then rest for 20 seconds then go to the next exercise. Quick with lots of varity is good because I get bored easily. Also it's only 12 -30 mins a day. That plus going for walks should be great.

On Saturday we almost forgot our walk because we were bust during the day so we went at night. It was just after 1200 and it was almost better than at day. No one on the trail with us AND the fireflies and moon made it look super pretty. Like a magical woods.

Suona 06-21-2011 08:59 PM

lol You do have both similarly rich and pompous looking avis.

Nephila 06-21-2011 09:23 PM

*snaps her crop across your tooty fruity butt*

lol We kinda do don't we. I'm still wearing my entrie for her Undies Circus contest. XD

Suona 06-22-2011 12:47 AM

Haha. I'd been talking about Dillo's date comment. >< Was a bit delayed.

*rubs butt* Owww.

I quite like your avi, though. Very clever.

Nephila 06-22-2011 12:58 AM

lol yeah I saw that afterwards. To me anything with a top hat is rich and pompous lookin'. XD Thank-you.

Suona 06-22-2011 04:35 AM

Haha. Yeah, tophats just kind of give off that vibe.
Probably because those tend to be the only kind of people that wear them.

Nephila 06-22-2011 10:02 PM

And Grooms...well old school grooms. If I get married I'm wearing the tux. The man can wear a dress...or kilt. yeah Kilt would be fine.

Suona 06-23-2011 12:38 AM

Haha. Quite old school.
I dont care to have a big ceramony if I get married. Rediculous the expenses for such things. I probably wont even do a wedding dress. Just get it legalized and have a reception with family and friends.

Nephila 06-23-2011 02:27 AM

Yeah. I'd rather have people give us gifts and make money than go into debt.

neller 06-24-2011 03:36 PM

I'd have a small ceremony at my mom's house. Nothing spectacular...50 guests tops and some cake afterwards. That'd be awesome.
