I dunno why but ages ago on mene, if you accidentally switched to a different website or your net went down. You could click back and all the stuff you had just typed would be saved. They don't have that option anymore, it really sucks!

...In my eyes, the judging this round was rather, uh, interesting? I guess that, when it comes down to so few people, it's hard to keep from nitpicking. :lol:

Congrats, Saravi! Wow, I just barely scraped by again, it seems. Cora, I'm sorry to see you go hun. You did a great job portraying the wicked queen. I know this round was really tough to judge because everyone did such a wonderful job.

I'm curious to know what items Emma and Facade think would have worked better with Mickey. I spent a good number of hours working on him and trying to figure out what worked, but layering was a real problem with a lot of things. I literally scoured each of the shops trying to figure out what would work best, and ended up buying items that didn't end up working simply because you can't try them on with the other items in the dressing room. I must have spent a ton of gold on that outfit as well, hehe. I can't use the MAC, because it won't work on my computer, so I have to guestimate if the items will layer properly or not.

Please don't take this as a complaint because it isn't intended as one. I just think some input on what you think would have worked better would be nice. It could, perhaps, be something I have already attempted and didn't work.

I do agree, Emma, the color choices were not great, but they were the closest things I could come up with to match the image. I was hoping the catsuit would layer properly as I felt the leggings on it were a better color match, but I never got a reply back from the mod I pm'd asking about it, and I wasn't about to spend another 500+g when I had already spent so much on the outfit only to find out the item didn't layer properly. That's a lot of gold to spend for nothing.

Yeah, been there, done that Fiz. I can't even begin to tell you how much money I wasted while I was working on my Deadpool cosplay. lol. It was worth it in the end though. I like the way he turned out. ^_^

Well, personally, my issue with your cosplay was how it didn't translate well to the available items here on Mene - as I stated in my critiquing. I think you could've pulled off something a lot less risky, and equally as offbeat and creative.

I think it would be more beneficial for you to ask the judges as a whole, not as individuals based on what they had to say. We're all here to judge you, and even if only one or two of us said something in particular, we're all equally apt at suggesting something, or whatever you're looking for. :)

It feels like you're questioning our own capabilities and not necessarily looking for a nudge or two in the right direction, in my opinion.

Facade, I really honestly don't understand what you mean by a lot less risky. The reason I mentioned the two of you is because you both pointed out that I could have done something different and I thought maybe perhaps you had some ideas? I wasn't trying to single anyone out for any other reason than that. I'd be more than happy to take suggestions from anyone here. I just thought you both had some ideas on what items I could have used instead to make the avi look more like the image. It was a simple request.

Seriously, I am not trying to argue with anyone here or anything, so I mean I can drop this entire subject now if you like, but I just really would appreciate some input on this. I think it would be nice to get a bit of constructive criticism and some suggestions. I'm not taking anything personally, I can take criticism. I totally appreciate what you and the other judges are doing here as I know it's not an easy job to fill. I really hope I am able to convey to you just how much I do appreciate it, because I really am not trying to question your judging capabilities at all and this is not meant to be, in any way, a personal affront.

Has anyone got a Red Athena dress they could loan me? I really need it for this next round but gold is short and we haven't much time. I wish they had put some mouse ears in the shop along with all the rest of that mouse stuff in there, and some noses, in black, brown, pink, peach, etc, hehe.
