No problem, Roachi. I totally understand, as I haven't been able to be here myself the last several days, with exception of a quick stop in yesterday. I sooo wanted to get more of the event shop items too, and I wasn't able to get the tools on my mule, I never got the option to do so. Really would have liked to have another wrench or hammer at least.
Then I went to the event shop this morning and it said I had 6 tokens left, so I tried to get an item for 6 tokens and no matter what item I clicked that said it cost six tokens, it wouldn't let me buy any of them. I ended up getting something for four tokens, then tried to get a 2 token item as it said I still had two tokens, but it wouldn't let me buy any 2 token items either as it kept saying I didn't have enough tokens. So my last two tokens didn't get to be spent, since there are no 1 token items. It was quite annoying, to say the least. |
I know that was me, my internet crashed as well Roachi, we've had a grand total of 3 huge storms in the past week and a half, 2 of which have flooded my basement which totally fucked me over with my free art shop as it is... I have arts done but no damned internet to even upload them. Right now I'm at the library of all places because I know these votes have to be in, and I wasn't able to get there yesterday.
I am very sorry to all the contestants that I'm one of the late people :( -Okay they're sent in now, again I apologize, its seriously been a shit show for me for the past 2 weeks what with all teh flooding, no internet, and training that's been happening for my new position at work I've been m.i.a from the internet far more than I've wanted. Also if anyone sees this who I owe arts from ... from the last event. Fret not, although late they are all complete with the exception of the last 3 that I am working on. I just can't upload them yet as I have no stable internet at home. Once I do and no longer have to go to the library for work/internet... then they'll be uploaded and all will be right within the world. |

It's times like these I'm kinda glad I live in an apartment. I don't have to work too much about that stuff - if something happens my landlord fixes it. Now to remember to call the landlord about the problems. *ha ha ha* I'm afraid of cosplaying anything at the moment because, if I do, what if matches the next round? *lolz!* |
Luckily I'm living at my rents place for another 3 weeks before I take possession of my apartment in the city. But they just laid down something like... 8k or so worth of hardwood floor, and i had my desktop in my room and what not on the floor its been a shit show for sure, but thing are slowly getting undercontrol I just really want to not to have to go to the library to work and i really really need to get this art that I have done scanned and sent out to the ppl from the event. Its already almost 2 weeks late for some ppl - puts gun to head -

There was a fire in my last apartment - talk about a fiasco! I'm so glad my computer didn't get ruined because of the THOUSANDS of gallons of water the firefighters drenched the house in. I lived in the basement of the house and fire was in the attic. *oi* It messed my sister up. Now she just throws everything away and every time you buy something she yells at you... 'do you really NEED that?' *sigh* on disasters... |

Sitting in a the VA hospital with my father-in-law today and yesterday. The aggravation knows no bounds. The poor nurses are so short handed it takes several tries and four or five hours to get anything taken care of. *sigh* :headdesk:
